Alright here we go. Keep in mind these are my own personal opinions and for the sake of argument I probably won't include Batman 66

    1) 'The Dark Knight' (2008)
    2) 'The Dark Knight Rises' (2012)
    3) 'Batman Begins' (2005)

I'm the kind of mindless drooling Nolan fanboy you all love to hate. 10/10, four stars out of four for all of those. Wanna fight about it?

    4) 'Batman Forever' (1995) Anyone who somewhat vaguely follows my posts knows that I am a staunch defender of this film. I think Kilmer's Batman and his Bruce Wayne have way more soul than Keaton did. I think Burton's films are Burton films which of course mean that they are populated with caricatures rather than characters. Don't get me wrong 'Batman Forever' has some weak moments particularly Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face but I think it's strengths out weigh it's flaws.

    5) 'Batman Returns' (1992) A pretty gruesome and schizophrenic movie but on those terms it's highly entertaining. Danny Devito's Penguin is something to behold. It's a Burton film though and it has the Burton film tropes that come to annoy me. Batman is almost as psychopathic as his Penguin friend here too. I love the line where Penguin says that he is a genuine freak and Batman just has to wear a mask.

    6) 'Batman' (1989) Or the Joker. Highly overrated. Kim Basinger is like watching a nail go across a chalk board. I think Keaton could have been a great Batman but he doesn't do anything as either Bruce Wayne or Batman here really. Jack Nicholson though is so damn entertaining that it is hard to really dislike this movie. It's definitely a case of an actor with such force and a director who has no idea how to contain him. This is a movie I go back and forth on. The aesthetics of it are incredible as they are in any Burton film but the script and the characters leave a heck of a lot to be desired.

    7) 'Batman & Robin' (1997) It's bad but that being said it's never boring. If all cinematic abortions that so offended the masses had this much creativity and goofiness in them then we would be in good hands.

I was just reviewing my Batman & Robin thread, and I realized I'm despicable for not watching the film yet.

I don't think I've seen all of it, just bits and pieces.

Or maybe I've only hypnotized myself into thinking that.
