RE: Who's prettier, Padmé or Leia

    Padme let herself be manipulated by Palpatine in TPM. Leia would've been sharper to catch that. While Padme helped her people, Leia led the hugely outnumbered Rebellion to victory against the evil Empire.

    We all know tragedy is going to hit Padme, but it's still weak that she dies because Anakin turned to the Dark Side. Tragedy hit Leia (Alderaan) and she got over it. If Han left Leia, she'd be sad but she'd never *die* of heartbreak.

    Yeah, Padme's really pretty. But so far, she's done nothing to lead me believe that she has *any* personality at all. I mean really. Who'd you rather go barhopping with? The queen with the grating monotone voice, or the spirited princess who mouthed off to Vader and strangled Jabba the hutt! And Leia could use jedi mind tricks to give you an advantage with hot guys you like. :D


    EDIT: And, uh, all these facets of Leia's personality naturally make her the prettier of the two. :)

    Although Padmé is beautiful, she seems quite dull as a character when compared to Leia. Leia has so much more going for her, she just seems more 'real'.

    As far as looks go, Padme is prettier. Which character do I enjoy more? Leia--way more sparkle.

    While I find both women very attractive, I've gotta go with Leia, no contest.

    Padme just seems a little stiff to me Wanting to get everything her way, "Well I don't approve" is one example.

    Whereas Leia was royalty that wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty and muck about (in the case of the compactor in IV this is literal)

    And MOST importantly . . . two words . . . SLAVE OUTFIT!!!!!

    Hey cbjedi okay you may be right on that. Leia might not have caught Palaptine's tricks.

    But still Padme may be just as strong or idealistic as Leia but which character is more appealing? Leia to me. She was fiesty and could crack sarcastic comments in the worst of situations. Padme was flat and boring as a character. Natalie Portman is an amazing actress, but Padme's character wasn't deep enough to show her acting ability. Amidala acted like a stuffy queen with a monotne voice and seemed to have no sense of fun or humour. Leia was a princess but she knew how to get down and dirty. I don't dislike Padme, I just think Leia's more interesting.

    Oh, and we do know tragedy will hit Padme. Her husband turns to the Dark Side and leaves her doesn't he? She's supposed to die because of that. Come on. Dying of a broken heart...give me a break.

    Hey, i have a pic that can match the one (or better) of leia in her restraints....this one and its not of either of them....mara jade.....
    but my choice is Padme.
    That picture of her put me over the top, but until i saw that pick i was for both....mainly leia though, that slave outfit man, but now its mara jade in her 'dancer' out fit (click link)

    MY God! Padme was FOURTEEN when we saw her last! You think A fourten year-old is supposed to have a massive chest? What is up with that? Leia was pretty hot in ESB, but no where else. And, we've only seen Padme for one movie and two years. We've had 20 to find all the good things about Leia Organa. Wait until Ep. 3 ends, THEN make your decision.
