This thread mainly serves the purpose to keep track of characters and places invented for the game and therefore not on any Wiki.

For starters a short introduction to the Tares-Cluster and a dramatis personae of the most important NPCs.

    The Tares-Cluster

The Tares Cluster is at the outer fringes of the Outer Rim, mostly known for mining operations and it's strategic value as an imperial stronghold in the area.

The Cluster is relatively small and contains only five habitable planets and a network of mining colonies.

The Asteroid field runs through the cluster, actually making access possible through only five "jump-points" or a lengthy travel through the field itself. Rumors talk about a sixth Secret jump-point, that the Empire is unaware of and most smugglers use to enter the system.

    Teliad-System

Teliad is home of the Teliad Kingdom, a royal family allied to the Empire and before to the Old Republic. The King of Teliad is the Governor of Planet by the grace of the Emperor and also the commander-in-chief of the imperial forces within the system.

Teliad is a desert planet and the need of imports has kept population under control for centuries. They have little love for the Empire or their despot though and open though small acts of rebellion have been increasing since the rumors of a rebel presence has spread.

Two years ago several of the outer settlements have started an uprising called the Summer-Rebellions. It was brutally crushed by imperial forces and most of the settlements were wiped out. Also an effective military campaign, the brutality of the Empire has cost them a lot of support on the planet.

A man called The Stranger has recently begun to organize a series of acts against the Empire and has so far avoided the imperial and royal forces successful.

Lately a shift of power has occurred as the main reactor of the capital has been sabotaged and exploded destroying most of the capital and killing hundreds of thousands of imperial soldiers and possibly the entirety of the royal family. How this vacuum in power will affect the planet has to be seen.

The Imperial-Class Star Destroyer Vigilance has been withdrawn to Onterion for now and has left thousands of imperial troops stranded in an increasingly hostile environment.

    Suron-System

Suron, the name-giving planet of the system is a jungle planet, entirely covered by deep woods and housing some of the galaxies most dangerous predators.

There are various settlements on the planet, which are all of moderate size and self-governed. Near the oldest of these settlements - Suron Ono - the Rebels have established their secret base. The people living in Sono (as the locals call the settlement) are sympathizers of the Rebel cause and provide the small base with food.

The planet is home of a race of intelligent ape-like creatures and some Rebels have befriended the curious creatures who have been friendly and playful.

The Empire maintains only a token presence on the planet guarding a sole communications array. It is a career dead-end for Imperials to be stationed here and therefore these Imperials have been less than active in the planets affairs. Some even think the commander of that station might have sympathies for the Rebel Alliance.

    Adepha-System

Containing three planets actually, only Adepha III is habitable and it houses an Anomid colony that has grown a sprawling city network that covers most of the southern continent. The oldest Anomid colony known today is home of over a hundred million members of the species. The Empire has occupied the planet and is ruling it with an iron fist. Governor Dauron Caul is actually the cousin of the ruling Moff of the Cluster and he has maintained order through brutal measures, oppression and a network of Anomid collaborators. The Empire has two Garnisons of soldiers on the planet and an aged Victory-Class Star Destroyer "Vengeance" looms over the planet.

The planetary shield the planet once established has been deactivated and the generator serves as the headquarters of the Empire nowadays.

Civil unrest has recently plagued the planet and mass executions and a wave of arrests has only heightened tension between the Empire and the native population.

    Onterion-System

The system is the center of imperial power within the Cluster. Onterion itself is the crown-jewel of the Empire within the cluster. A world covered by oceans and archipelagos it has only one continent which is home to Onterion-Prime. The capital of the world.

Onterion is an imperial fortress world, containing the bulk of the Empire's forces within the cluster. The Moff rules the cluster from this system. It is the seat of the systems Admiral Adanus Keil and also the training and Government Seat of the Empire within the cluster.

The Empire has treated the population of Onterion well and they are considered at least mildly loyal to the imperial course.

Above the planet the Onterion shipyards are based. While to small to create any bigger ships they serve as the refueling station, repair facility and headquarters of the Empire's fleet.

The Imperial-Class Star Destroyer "Predator" remains in orbit of the planet at any given time.

    Torellia-System

Torellia is a rocky world with a limited breathable atmosphere (you need an oxygen mask after a few hours or you slowly run out of breath). It houses some smaller bases and settlements, but is largely uninhabited. The small starport of Traukarian sees limited use, but is a good place for discrete business occasionally used by smugglers, the Hutts and even the Rebels.

The unofficial ruler of the planet is Vaugon the Benevolent, a Hutt who has been exiled to the Tares-Cluster a century ago. He might be the oldest living creature in the cluster.

Rumors say that there are ruins on the planet who have once attracted the attention of an imperial Inquisitor. The rumors said he has never returned from his journey and the ruins were sealed and are nowadays guarded by the Empire.

If these rumors are true is unknown. Despite these stories the Empire seems to have little interest in the system.

    The Tares Asteroid Field

The field is rich on a variety of ores. Therefore it houses over a dozen large and hundreds of smaller mining colonies. Most run by the Tares-Mining-Consortium, a loyal servant of the Empire ever since it was claimed from the Seperatists in the Clone Wars.

Their main base of operations is Asteroid 22-22, a vast complex carved into a huge Asteroid at the center of a field. Tractor beams keep larger bodies of rock away and the Asteroid is heavily armed with point defense weapons. It also hold a minor imperial presence consisting of two squadrons of TIE-Fighters and about a hundred Stormtroopers. The Raider-Class corvette Justice patrols the system.

The other base of note within the field is Rassil Station, an independent mining outfit run by a group of Neimodians who have bribed local authorities for their independence decades ago. Rassil is deep inside the fields, which probably has ensured it's survival. The Empire just considers it to much of an effort to reach.

Despite their mining operations Rassil has become a go-to place for shady characters and smugglers paying the considerable harbor fee to exchange goods are a secondary income of the station.

Rassil also has one of the last existing droid cores, coordinating the terribly outdated security force of Seperatists security droids. They also maintain a small contingent of old starfighters to protect their shipments from pirate attacks.

Actually I feel posting them in game is enough for now. Here I wanted to post stuff we might have a look at from time to time. Sourcematerial.
