Got a 350 pound tax return, instead of saving it like a good decent person I spent it all in one go on a morally questionable gift to myself.

 

I used to take my bags out before I left the store and put the cart away so the employees would have one less cart to retrieve from the parking lot.

I stopped.

 

If a shopping cart ever - EVER!!! - scratches my car, I'm coming for you, VLM. You can take that to the bank.

 

Oh no, I put the cart in one of those corrals. I'm a rebel, not a barbarian.

 

Uh huh. I'm watching you.

 

Today I took two showers. Each using around 30 minutes of hot water.

I'm /devilish/ and cannot be stopped.

 

That just makes you just like all those other rebels who also put their carts in the corrals. And to quote the Incredibles, when everybody is a rebel...no one is.

 

That's what most people do. If I didn't put it in the corral I'd be a conformist.

 

I quoted a Red Roses saying in front of family with a curse word in it. My 2 year old nephew repeated the curse word quite clearly. I thought it was hilarious.

 

I handed dude my coins after I got the coffee but drove off before he could count that I gave the correct amount.

 

I bought a new heater fan. It had a warning tag about fire on the cord. Right up until I removed it.

 

Each time I read one of your Rebellion posts, I imagine it ending with the beginning of that song that plays at the end of The Matrix: COME ON!!!

 

Car 1 ahead of me rolling stop through stop sign.
Car 2 ahead of me rolling stop through stop sign.
Car 3 ahead of me rolling stop through stop sign.

I came to a full stop and looked both ways before proceeding.

 

Wish more people would 'rebel' like that.

 

How about when you're driving down the road and everyone is swishing past you, and getting mad at you because you're sticking to the speed limit?

 

A cop was heading in the opposite direction in a Meijer parking lot and I turned left ahead of him.


I didn't use my turn signal.

 

So what? I haven't refilled my blinker fluid reservoir in years.

 

Dude would not move up right away in the drive thru line. His bumper indicated he was a Bernie Sanders support like me. I tailgated him anyway.

 

When I pass boxes of Pineapple Upside-Down cake in stores, it's all i can do to not turn the box upside down, thereby making it Pineapple Rightside-Up cake...

Now that The Bigger Fish left I can get out the cookies I secretly bought then hid, and eat them without sharing.

While no less than 2 cops where stopped to investigate a minor accident and were looking in my general direction I performed a rolling stop.

 

I told my boss he'd be able to call me while I'm on vacation. Turned off my phone before I even left the office.
