What Cassian did was definitely a new side of The Rebellion. But it's definitely not something I would consider common, and especially not something The Spectres would show. We got Mon Mothma, the leader of The Rebellion, preaching about how much more moral The Rebellion is compared to The Empire.

I guess Cassian is one of those more extreme Rebels.

 

I thought for sure the big Wolf was going to morph into a Bendu.

 

I think the fact that they left Rukh alive doesn’t bode well for Thrawn

Why would Ruhk kill Thrawn in this continuity? I seem to remember (it's been, what, 20, 30 years since I read that trilogy) Thrawn had some sort of deception going on that was effectively a betrayal to Ruhk and his kind.

 

I don't get why they would bring in Ruhk to just kill him after, like, two episodes. He is interesting, and they could indeed develop him to have a similar role that he had in the TT, however as of right now I would not worry about Ruhk or Thrawn dying. At least not in Rebels.

 

Killing Rukh would have definitely made more sense considering how dangerous he is. Should they have actually done it in this show? Eh, maybe not.

Well, now we know they only sparred Rukh to electrocute him to death few episodes later.
