Recognizing each other at C3 (IMAGE HEAVY)

Actually, here's a better shot of me (hehe) without the Bith head and in my trooper gear rather than that tie pilot armor I borrowed...

This particular pic was shot of me and another 501st member while getting ready for filming of Star Wars Revelations which is due out this weekend at the Senator Theater in Baltimore, and will be available here at TFN on Sunday I believe.

I found a few more pics from C2. By the way, I was interviewed on "Good Morning Indianapolis" on the first day. It was pretty funny actually. The reporter came up to me and wanted me to react a certain way, and I did. It was about something to do with me not standing in the right line regarding tickets for the movie.

I'm the guy on the right with what looks to be a giant kippah on his head.

keithabbott, that picture reminds me of a picture from our group... "How Mnay Jedi Does it Take to Dress a Stormie." At one event we had a kid w/ brand new armor and he had 4 people in Jedi-ish garb helping him to get dressed in a hospital parking lot

 

All the pics are awesome and I am just really looking forward to hanging out with all of you! It's gonna be a blast to remember! We will all be telling our kids and grandkids about it.

 

Here is a pic from a costume party we had a few years back... And with that said, after seeing some of the costumes here, I dont think I am going to get dressed up, because my outfit looks terrible compared to some of the fantastic work I have seen here lately. To me, if I cant get it looking like I walked out of the movie, I dont want to wear it. Hey, that will be less stuff I have to lug, though, eh?

I wouldn't sweat it. I think it's important just to have fun. If I had a costume that looks half as good as yours I'd still wear it. I hope folks would be accepting regardless of how "canon" a costume is... I would say wear it if it makes you happy!

 

i still need to put the bald cap on. It's going to be unveiled at C3. I am in the costume contest so everyone should come cheer me on.

(whispers so JediRiff cant hear) uh, Sith Hunter, when he wears his costume, Riff thinks he really IS the Emperor. Probably best that he leaves it at home to avoid any...unpleasantries.

Well, the costume itself looks great. A friend made it for me, and it looks fantastic. I just have no latex experience, or contacts, and compared to some of the ones I have seen, the actual face part just wouldnt be up to snuff. And it is HOT. I think it would wind up being more aggravation than anything, so I will probably just leave it at home. I do plan to talk to some of the costumers and find out how and where they get some of their ideas to create a few things. There are some REALLY nice pieces of work out there.

 

That's a good idea, a costuming panel. Is there going to be one?

I think I remember you. Weren't you in line at C2 on Thursday when a news crewman came over and set up an interview with you on tv and you said that you were in line for the Pacer's game, to which he replied that they lost and you just had a disappointed look on your face? Was that you?

 

Yes that was me! I totally forgot exactly what it was about. PACERS. That's it. That was me. Were you in line with me or did you see me on TV?

HAHAHAHAHA!! Reminds me of Midnight Maddness, the first time I got in my armor. But I only needed help from one other person. Same with the next day at another event, but that time it was a Jedi, but not in a parking lot.
