Lord of the Rings, Return of the King Platinum Series Special Extended Edition (sheesh...say that 3x fast) to be released on DVD December 14, 2004.

Star Wars Clone Wars Seasons 1 & 2 DVD scheduled for release on March 22, 2005, one week after Season 3 airs on Cartoon Network.

ok not to sounds stupid, but when was season 2 on? the tivo is supposed to tell me these things!

 

Clone Wars Season 1 aired in late 2003 (November?), and Season 2 aired in early 2004 (March). Each season consisted of 10 episodes, for a total of 20. Episodes 1 - 19 were each 3 minutes long, and episode 20 was 5-6 minutes long.


Season 3 will consist of five 12-minutes episodes for an additional hour of content.

Tonight is the start of the series Battlestar Galactica.

They just replayed last December's mini-series.

Good stuff.

Which coincidentally, is also the same day that Season 1 of Stan Lee's Striperella starring Pam Anderson is set to be released on DVD.

 

ooh i can not WAIT to get that one...oh wait.

 

I should clarify that Striperella is actually animated fare, as opposed to live action.

 

The Incredibles DVD hits shelves today.

 

Took me awhile to dig this one up.

Sin City DVD released today.

 

Joss Whedon's Serenity hits the big screens on September 29.

 

Batman Begins will be released on October 18th.

The Warner Bros. release, which recently inched past the $200 million mark at the domestic box office, will be available in two versions: a single-disc edition that contains the movie only and a two-disc edition that includes a 72-page comic book and several hours of DVD extras.

Among them: documentaries on the genesis of the Dark Knight, the reinvention of the Batmobile and the development of miniatures, CGI and effects for the Monorail Chase scene; a study of
Christian Bale's transformation into Batman; a spoof, "Tankman Begins"; and a featurette on the creation of Gotham City, the Batcave and Wayne Manor.

The Underworld sequel/prequel: Underworld Evolution slated for a theatrical release date of January 20, 2006.

 

kim and i got free passes to go see the exorcism of emily rose last night . it comes out september 9th.

go see it if you like to watch paint dry . its nothing like the exorcist . its a court room drama with a couple of spooky parts
