Return of Darth Vader

I'm an aspiring 14 year old film maker. I started working on my own fan film called the Return of Darth Vader. I already have the script finished and the characters have been cast. I'm looking for a release date some time in the summer of next year. Any body who is interested about more details please post and I will back to you. Advice and input would appreciated.

 

Hm.....14 years old....sound just like the other 14 year old dude anyone? Maybe he created a sock?

No I'm not that 14 year old but another one who loves star wars and always wanted to make a movie about star wars.

 

Well, I could help, lightsabres and blasters, as usual, and Since when have you wanted to do a fanfilm?

Lightsabers and blaster would be great because that is escpecially what I need right now. And I have been wanting ti make a fanfilm for three years now. It took me about about a year and half to right the script.

 

I'm just making a short fanfilm, but it only took me 3 months to write the script. We start filming in 2 days.

 

Wow, I write my scripts in 3 - 6 weeks.

 

To Insta11: I hope to see your fan film when it comes out. My script is about 30 pages so my film may not be that short.

 

I had to do this between school and etc. So i didn't always have time to work on it and plus my family moved, and i had to share the computer. So I had alot of obstacles before I was able to finish the script.

 

yeah, that could explain a little.Mines only 9 pages, but I rewrote it a lot.

 

Mine was 17, but it was very brief, since I was the only doing the effects, I knew what I wanted, Just the lines were detailed.

 

Mine was typed and then the rest of the actors(my friends who can act) wrote footnotes everywhere, so I can barely read it

 

I can post some of the script up on here and see what you think.

Here is the first scene:

Star War Episode 7

Scene One: The Return of Darth Vader


(Place settings the desert. The audience sees an old scraggly man who has handcuffs on his hands. Stormtroopers are guarding the old man. The stormtroopers are taking the old man to a prison.)

Stormtrooper 1: You there get in this cell. (He pushes the old man into the cell.)

(The old man snarls at him. The Stormtrooper just laughs. The old man springs off his hind legs toward the guard. The old man smashes into the guard and knocks him over. The old man runs using the force to help him run. But because he is old it really didn?t help much. The old man runs into a room the sign saying Restricted. He closes the door and locks it. In the light is a black glove.)

Old Man: The glove of Darth Vader. (His eyes are wide.)

(The stormtroopers are trying to blow the door down. The old man grabs the glove and puts it on.)

Old Man: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(He falls on the floor. When he gets up he feels young and youthful. He looks at himself and he is wearing the Darth Vader suit. He has a lightsaber clipped to his belt.)

Darth Vader: It?s been a long time. (He pulls the lightsaber of his belt and ignites it. The red sinister glow lights up the room.)

(Darth Vader opens the door lightsaber in his hands. The stormtroopers take a step back. Darth Vader lifts his lightsaber up in a defensive position. The stormtroopers start to fire at him. He deflects the laser bolts one by one. Then he takes the offensive. He puts his hands up and uses a force push towards the stormtroopers. They fly back. He starts rushing at him them. He destroys every last one of them. He doesn?t even break a sweat.)

Darth Vader: I?m back!

 

Darth vader would not say that last line, he would say this:
I have returned.

EDIT: Why do the stormtroopers attack their leader?

 

Ok I will change that last line it does sound more like Vader. They attack him because they thought he was going to attack them.

 

My problem is that the end of ROTJ was meant to show Vader turn back to the lightside right before he died. Unless you can explain how he escaped the explosion and why he killed the emperor and then faked he own death, it would be too much of a twist for me. You are doing a good tho, I hope everything goes well. Good luck.

Wait a second, there's a book called the Clone of Vader, and another one Called The Glove of Vader.

 

In one of the Star Wars books, I can't remember which one, there was a myth that anybody who wore the glove of Darth Vader would become Vader. So that's what I'm playing it off of.

 

That's the book it's called the glove of Darth Vader

 

Dark, if the script is done, give us an over-view of the whole movie plot instead of the first scene so we can see what happens.
