1) New dark side bad to allow Ben to go to the Light.

2) Kenobi’s son and Rey’s biological father (with Russell as mom?) in a forceback moment. Or non-Kenobi dad who married Kenobi’s daughter (Kerri Russell?)

3) Political Leader whose side joins forces with our heroes.

3) Rey’s non-biological father but junker guardian.

He seems more villainous than good though so I’m leaning toward villainy.

 

I think Kylo will have demoted Hux or pushed him out for this guy. I think he will be Kylo's right hand man/enforcer.

He's 100% playing Darth Plagueis.

 

1) Young Snoke

2) FO officer, Mr. Boringpants

3) Elderly Ben Solo

4) Obi-Wan Kenobi

He's Maz Kanata's husband

 

Perhaps he fancies himself the rightful leader of the KOR.

I mean he could be Snoke's other apprentice or the lost hidden lame apprentice of Palpatine or some player in the contingency.

 

He looks like an evil senior officer of the First Order type (from the Empire era)

Interesting. This actorhas done a full range of character types. Could easily see evil, good, or anything in between.

Part of Lando's team who helps the Resistance
Rey's father
Last surviving member of the Guardian of the Whills
FO Engineer in charge of brainwashing the kidnapped kids

Although, as the poster who said Old Ben Solo...he does share some resemblance. It would be interesting if the final scenes were like 30 years later.

 

I've got it. People are very insistent that Anakin be in the film. Grant can play Anakin in his older form.

They could use Serkis in that case.

He won't be playing Snoke

 

Serkis was unavailable. They wanted someone who looks more like Snoke.

 

He'll play Snoke's brother Snorke

I don't want him to play FO officer Boringpants. Sigh. I'm actually really excited about this old Anakin idea.

But a NR officer leading the regrouped NR forces would do as well.
