But cute the voice of Yoda is. Throw it out the window you should not. Hurts the feelings of Ish the Not-so-mighty it does!

*Grabs Yoda's voice and hauls it back in*

Yoda in the OT was cool.

Yoda in parts of the PT rocked my world, too. Him in the scene with the security recordings half made me want to cry and half made me want to kick his wrinkly green butt into the firing range of the clonetroopers.

My husband won't play Scrabble with me any more. :( He says I have an unfair advantage because I read all the time. [face_laugh]

I sympathize with your husband VaderLVR64... I say the same thing to my wife. She reads like it's going out of style. I'm surprised she sticks with me and my back woods hick-speak (I grew up in a blue collar mining town in Wyoming). It must be love ;)

    Cheers,
    Wyo

    Salut, everyone! What a day!
Ever since last year's school musical, I've wanted to try out for this year's. (I want to sing in the chorus.) But I was completely taken off guard when one of the annoucements this morning said that everyone must sign up by Friday if they want to audition. I hate auditions! I get so scared and shaky. [face_worried] I was talking about it with one of my friends during French class and she told me that after class she was going to the drama teacher to sign up and I was coming with her. So I did, and now I have the song I have to sing for the try out. I'm really nervous! *pulls on hair*

The musical this year is How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and the song is Paris Original. I've never heard it before. Ah! I'm so scared! *hides under cover*

Anyway... That's hilarious about Scrabble! :D Men never want to lose to a woman. ;)

    No comment Jacem...

Come on. I've got one taker for Jedi Jack Bauer from 24. Anyone else? Although they look nothing alike, Jack reminds me alot of Quinlan Voss.

    fiercly loyal
    predisposition to extreme solutions
tempted, but not bent toward the dark side
    rough exterior with soft core

Jack Bauer is America's James Bond!

All this love talk is making me sad! :_| Oh well, I'll get over it. [face_laugh] See?

My mind has decided to revolt. I have to write a story for my creative writing class, and my roommate is watching Jeopardy and it's utterly distracting. However, I don't want to bother with unplugging my computer (ethernet cord too!) and lug it upstairs. My headphones are up there too. I guess I'm just stuck then, eh?

So the Social Thread is over 10K? We locking this one and starting another? Or we gonna ride this puppy as long as possible?

    Good night, ish and brodiew.

No clue, Leah. Still not sure why the other two were closed, unless it's a technical thing. But if so, why are the teenage writer's society and the Obi-Wan thread still kicking?

    Oh, and good evening.

Well when a thread hits 10k they normally lock it up (I don't know why that is the number). I guess the Teenage thread and Obi Wan thread got permission to stay open.

    Good evenin' to you!

There is NOTHING on TV! The State of the Union speech is taking over all the regular cable channels until 11, which means no "Law and Order: SVU"! :_| Thank the Lord for TNT "Law and Order" (original series with Jesse L. Martin!) repeats!
