    Since Tim was a very influential illustrator for the Star Wars universe, let's take a moment to remember him and his work. My thoughts and prayers go out to his brother Greg and the rest of the family.

    I am greatly saddened by his passing. He was a fantastic artist. I admired his work greatly. @};-

    Hey, I acually have a few of those Magic cards from when I used to play :)
    I remember a lot of the Star Wars work as well...
    I actuallly like a lot of their LotR interpretations better than the movies. Captures more of the fantasy and wonder and not so much the dark dark angst.
    He was a great artist and he will be missed...

    EDIT - Did they do those HP pieces before or after the movies came out?

    RIP indeed, Sir Hildebrandt--and may there be plenty of art supplies in heaven. I loved his work--the detailing and depth has always left me in awe. He will be missed, and prayers to his family.
