Ahh! I forgot about the White Elephant thing. Now I gotta find a gift before Saturday.

 

Just an FYI for our friends joining us from a distance.

NOAA is currently forcasting a 40% chance of snow Saturday night, and there are some saying this could be a good sized storm, one radio DJ described it as "a chance for epic snow".

So I guess either plan on leaving early or begging the hostess for some floor space? heh

 

I don't believe it...never snows when they SAY it is going to.

Saturday: Partly cloudy breezy and warmer. Morning lows will be from 23 to 28 degrees, afternoon highs from 47 to 52 degrees.

Sunday: MUCH COLDER! There will be periods of light snow but total snowfall does not look like it it be very much. Please check back often for forecast updates. Morning lows will be from 17 to 22 degrees, afternoon highs from 26 to 31 degrees

 

I've got a place to crash, so as long as its not snowing Saturday morning then I'll be ok.

 

No one HAS to bring a gift, the sad part is you would just sit & watch. But don't feel like you have to bring a gift to come to the party.

Sometimes people bring extra gift.

Just for the sake of completeness, NOAA forecast for Englewood

I personally trust NOAA over most any other forecast, the weather channel lost my patronage when they kept calling Bear Lodge asking them if they were sure it was snowing there even though the desk clerk kept looking out the window and it was. NOAA at least seems to realize the Big Horn mountains exist, many other act like they're not there and forecast as if it were all plains.

I have home-made cranberry sauce. I saw the comments on the minimal chewing of said sauce, but this stuff is good - sweet. Made with cranberries, pears, honey and sugar. I recommend small amounts. Interest? if not, I'll plan something else.
