    Hi everyone!
    My favorite ST character is Rose Tico. She's an amazing character which I wish that could have expanded more... but anyway, I hope Kelly Marie is okay.

    By the way, Star Wars Adventures: Endangered collects Star Wars Adventures #6-8 so, if you are only interested in the Rose story and none of the others, her story is issue #6.

    I have to buy paperback, so I always forget that others might prefer to buy digital, especially if they're only interested in one issue.

    The "Duel of the Fates" script really let Rose shine, both in screen time and personality. In fact, it warms my heart to see how much Trevorrow and Connolly clearly loved Rose/KMT. *sigh* Yet another missed opportunity with TROS...

    I've warmed up to the DOTF script as of late. I think it doesn't do Rey/Kylo justice, but it lets the ensemble cast shine. Finn/Rose get WAY better arcs in that movie, and with some minor tweaks it could have really worked. Unfortunately each of the re-writes appeared to have just gotten worse from what I can see.

    I just realized that today, January 17th, is Kelly Marie Tran's birthday. Regardless of what people think of Rose, and I personally quite like her, I think we can all wish Kelly a happy birthday and hope that she has a successful career moving forward. She's going to be the next Disney princess, so she has that going for her now.

    Kelly is the protagonist’s voice in the big upcoming animated film “Raya and the Last Dragon”. She sounds great in the trailer.

    First of all: I LIKE the actress Kelly Marie Tran and it was very bad how she was treated by some evil trolls !!!

    Unfortunately, the "fictional character Rose Tico" in TLJ isn't a really well-written character.

    After many people didn't like the movie-character Rose: Would it have made sense if Rose had turned to the First Order as a traitor in Episode IX?

    Yeah, the key to “rehabilitating the character” would have been to make her a more interesting hero, not a villain.

    I still think Johnson himself could have given her real fans if he had her sabotage the Supremacy to make the Holdo Maneuver make sense.

    Sorry, but I wouldn't agree with that. One problem with the ST was that there were TOO MANY heroes (Rey, Finn, Poe, Rose, Jannah. ...), while the villains hardly had any good writing characters. A lot of the bad guys like Hux or Phasma didn't work at all.

    What speaks against turning "one of these hero characters" into a villain? And why not Rose?

    I can actually get finding her superfluous, but making her a hero doesn't help out the villains either - Johnson didn't really even make her an action girl or anything extraordinary - but beyond that her backstory doesn't loan itself to the "heel turn" the way someone like Holdo might have.

    Why would Rose, who we first see mourning her sister’s death, join the people who are responsible for her sister’s death?
