    Your original point was that Black Friday is too far before Christmas to get you in the Christmas mood. You then stated that doing something two months before Christmas gets you in the Christmas mood. Two months is greater than one month.

    Given that you cannot remain consistent within a handful of posts, I do not believe you have the expertise to definitively state that Christmas does not begin three months before Christmas day. One could even argue that you can get into the Christmas spirit in May.

    I would even go so far as to ask for a vote of no confidence in you on any Christmas related issue. But, given the Christmas season I will not do so at this time.

    But Black Friday exists as a shopping day for retailers to "kick off" the Christmas shopping season. It's completely marketed that way.

    Yes, they are. They are trying to lure as many shoppers as possible. Christmas shoppers are a subset of that.
