Welcome! As everyone hopefully knows by now I am expecting a baby next month (September 2013). I thought it would be fun for everyone to guess the baby’s arrival date and gender. Whoever chooses the correct arrival date of the baby as well as the gender in case of two people choosing the same date will win colors for a week! If you would like to play simply choose a date any date between now and the end of September and a gender. The baby’s official due date is Sept 10th! To give everyone a fair chance at picking the date they choose we will begin taking dates on Wednesday August 7th at 7am EST just to give everyone a chance to read through the thread. Between now and Wednesday please feel free to ask me any questions that may help you choose your guess.

Rules

1. Once a date and gender combination has been taken no one else can use that same combination. So if a player has already taken September 1st Girl, you can choose September 1st Boy. However, once both genders are taken for a date that date is no longer available to other players.

2. If no one chooses the exact due date the winner will be the contestant who chose the closest date without going past the arrival date.

3. Do not make an entry until Wednesday August 7th any entry made before that date will not count. To make this easier on those outside of the US or just outside of the EST I will make a post at exactly 7 AM EST to let you all know it okay to start making your guesses.

For the record I have a boy and I would be thrilled to have a girl. Raising a girl would be very interesting. I would not be able to help her with hair, make-up, nails, you know girl stuff

 

You would *not* be able to help her? Why is that?

 

Because I never wear make up, do anything besides throw my hair in a pony tail, and I don't wear nail polish. But I like to eat healthy, exercise and swoon over men...

 

Well, that seems to cover the necessities I suppose...

My mom never wore makeup or did much with her hair either, my sisters managed pretty well learning from friends. Though there was a time the oldest one's eye makeup was... questionable for a couple of months.
