I posted this topic on Rebelscum.com and one of the members said that the Unmasked DV didn't look quite right with the unburned head so I decided to change it.........

Well I looked around and couldn't find a single picture of anakin with his burned head looking straight at you, So I did the next best thing. I went to the RS photo archive and used this photo:

    http://www.rebelscum.com/photo.asp?image=/ROTS/rots12ultvillvaderhdfr.jpg

It looks really good on the DV body!! Since I created it on my upstairs computer I'll have to wait and save it onto a Floppy A and take it to my Grandma's house and upload it there. (My downstairs computer does not have a Spot for a Floppy A)

    I think You'll like it!!

    Welcome to Fan Art, RYAN-J!

The unburned head on Vader's body is an interesting concept and it doesn't bother me all that much. Although, I think the photos blend a lot better in the one where you have the lower part of the helmet visible. If you do want to try and place the burned head on the body, I believe they have good images of charred Anakin at this site. :)

Thanks for taking time to look! Here's the New & Improved Unmasked Darth Vader pictures!! Let me know if you like them! I got the DV head from the
Rebelscum Photo archives, Under the ROTS 12' figures. It was part of "The Ultimate Villian" Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader set.

Hey RYAN-J, welcome to Fan Art! These are all interesting manips--I, like our mod, am not bothered by a regular Anakin head on the armored body... Your images might be a bit stronger, though, if you gave the characters some sort of background--even something simple, like corridor walls. That way the figures would be "grounded" in the image, and it would provide a bit more complexity to them. Of these latest two, the "half-face" seems most appropriate to me (as that's the way he looked when the helmet finally descended onto him...). Good use of the figure face there--it seems to fit on quite well. And HanSolo29 is right: Apt Irrelevance has some of the best hi-res images out there for the PT!
