    I'll have you know my mother's side of the family is from Essex, born and raised ;) Though, the accusations about that county might not be all wrong :p

    As for Love Island, I think my sisters watched it once. IDK, I care very little about that kind of show :p

    My parents watch Love Island, and I'll be honest, and maybe this only goes for the American version, but it verges on softcore... well, you know...

    "Vengeance On Varos" 6th Doctor
    DVD sets.

    And my very first Doctor Who novel.
    "Rose" featuring the 9th Doctor, where it all started for me. I'm excited. :D

    Ooh, exciting set, I've read that novel once, it's a good expansion of the episode :)

    As for the rest, Mind Robber and Varos are great, but Sea Devils might be one of the dullest and drawn out stories of the 70's. Lots of putzing about on naval ships and being The Silurians but worse :p

    That said, I do have a massive soft spot for how utterly insane the electronic score is for that story. Malcolm Clarke really went all out and I applaud the effort of making shrill screaming synth effects somehow listenable ;)

    That is a cool score. Thanks for posting. I'm still listening to it now. I like that kind of music very much.
    See, I like The Silurians and quite enjoyed "Warriors of the Deep", at least Parts 1 and 2. Bummer if "The Sea Devils" is dull. I doo not own any Series featuring Jon Pertwee so I decided to try this one.
    Same for why I chose Varos. Seemed to be a well regarded 6th Doctor series.

    And Troughton is great. If they release a blu ray boxset of one of his Seasons I'll be all over that.

    Had thought of buying Pertwee and McCoy's boxsets but kinda need to save that $130 it takes to get both right now. At least these DVDs are all under $20 and I get 3 different Doctors.

    I'm looking forward to getting into the books. So many of the old Target ones are so expensive for 1 little paperback. The best thing seems to find a lot of them being sold for a good deal. Buying them individually is not an option for me unless I want to have a small collection of DW books lol.
