Finally I have time to comment on your latest art pieces. I love them all, even though kiddos are NOT always that innocent. Especially when getting into their teenage days.

It's been a while since I posted but here is a new piece of art...........

 

Title: Into the Darkness
size: 12X12
medium: acrylic painting
I did this painting of Ahsoka Tano after watching the Star Wars Rebels Season 2 finale. During the day Ahsoka is entering the temple while during the night the painting glows in the dark as Ahsoka stands alone.

 

Cool, another user that uses acrylic paint that glows in the dark! Long time no see by the way!



I do like the fact when a painting has not only a day light life, but also a night life one.

Your Ahsoka Tano looks strong and fragile at the same time, fighting against the darkness & yet somehow yielding to it. I like the duality of your painting. And the symbolism of it. She is entering the dark in order to understand what became of her former master, hat ails him. Your painting shows that pretty well!



But you might like to check out the paintings & drawings that you posted, Ryuuri-chan. The links do not show very well, but with art like your´s I was desperate to type in stuff manually to see it properly.

 

Two of my paintings that I took for my booth at Calgary Comic Expo. I also took the Ahsoka Tano going into the temple as well. I love to paint nerdy landscapes. They are a lot of fun and offer there own challenges.

Thank you AzureAngel2. It has been quite a while. I'm glad to be back.
What kind of Glow in the dark medium do you use? I use a Pebeo gel glow in the dark. It gives a nice glow for quite a while. I do a base layer they add the glow in the dark to the paint and do it again.
The Trick is more glow in the dark than acrylic. I use a long exposer to photograph the paint in the dark.
