The wife and I finished off the rest of Season 1 and I felt while the whole season was well executed, the first half was stronger than the second half. The worst episode of this show was still 10x better than an episode of Fuller House.

 

My take was that Jesse is an accomplished author, has a PhD in psychology, and is a brilliant school counselor, but has a blind spot when it comes to the males in her family, in that she’ll not tell them the truth in order to keep them happy. At least at first.

There were certainly more than two occasions where it mattered she was Jamie’s mother, and the theme of how she treated him played into how she treated her husband, and then How her attitude changed in that regard.

 

Wow. That was fast. He as just diagnosed - what - last month? He must have been secretly very far along.

I had an uncle who died of throat cancer when I was young. Came as a shock to the family. But he was someone who hated doctors and never went. Then finally couldn't swallow food and finally went in and they were like...dude...you got a month left.

Cancer ****ing sucks. RIP

 

Likely it was undiagnosed for a long time and symptoms dismissed as other things before it was caught. Especially if it was just diagnosed as stage 4.

 

He may have simply been afraid to go to a Dr's office because of Covid . What sad sad news. RIP
