Sci Fi Friday

Out of curiousity how many of you are excited about Sci Fi Friday? Especially the fridays when they are airing new episodes of SG, SGA and BSG, and even Farscape back in the day?

I know its probably the most anticipated day for me, as 3 of the 4 shows I watch on a regular basis are. Anyone have any special tradition that they do when watching it? I don't, I'll order pizza every now and then but thats about it. Do you watch it with friends or by yourself?

Warrior_of_Mandalore Strikes Again!

 

SCI-FI Friday is the best. SG-1, Atlantis, and Battlstar. Nothing beats that line up.

 

I don't watch SG but have seen a few SG Atlantis episodes and enjoy it.

BSG rocks though! I can't wait for it to start!

 

Cant wait for BSG to return.

 

I love Scifi fridays, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and Battlestar Galactica, three hours.

 

I only watch BSG, didn't get into the other two shows soon enough to understand the plots. Plus what I seen of Atlantis bugs me a little. I plan my whole night around BSG though, won't leave the house much espeically as it gets later. Just my fiance and I watch it together, he sits out of fist range too Get a little wrapped up in my show and get mad when things go wrong.

 

There is no such thing as Sci Fi Friday over here, there is a Sci Fi Saturday with Stargate SG-1 and BSG but I'm not really interested in both shows.

On the other hand weekend is the period where I wait anxiously for the new Mai Otome episode

You mean two hours, 1/3 of an American TV hour is nothing but commercials

 

The Stargate series are bad, but I watch BSG.

 

18 actually, American TV show running time is at 42 minutes. So its closer to 1/3 then 1/4 (3/10 to be exact)

 

It's the best night for TV without a doubt.

Best damn SFF (Sci Fi Friday) ever.

Excellent SG-1. Great Atlantis. Stellar BSG.

Too bad we'll have a break in the SFF lineup next summer.

 

SciFi Friday is what gets me through the week.

 

It goes back even longer for me when Beauty and the Beast and X - Files ruled the night.

 

They do have that show, Eureka, that should be coming over the summer.

 

The only tradition I have dates back to The X-Files. I order a pizza and eat enough candy and drink enough Pepsi to keep me up for the rest of the night. Only for season finales, though, and last night was no exception.

I love Battlestar Galactica. The Stargates aren't as good, but they're entertaining enough, so I usually watch them.

I don't really like Doctor Who. I probably won't be watching Sci-Fi much until new episodes of Stargate air in July.

 

We shall see. Sounds solid enough but remember when GvE was in the Friday night line up

Sounds like we could see a repeat of that.

GvE was a great show by the way. Hopefuly it hits DVD soon.

 

Gah! What am I supposed to do with my life with no new episodes on Friday until July?

 

Wednesday is LOST night and Friday's are reserved specifically for Sci-Fi. I swear those are the only days I bother with turning on the TV.

I'm just glad that SG and SGA come back in July and not in October like BSG. But man, those season finals were sweet!
