I did pretty well on the first for just getting out of bed and having little coordination. The second one....lets not talk about that one.

    That was fun though :D

    *Wanders in*

I've always wanted to visit a Pub in Scotland. Check out the highlands, give my regards to that wee monster in Loch, see if the fog is as thick as they claim.

Check out Fort William while I was at it.

If just for ego. As I share the name.

In another time and place I'd introduce myself as William Arthur.

But your country was the birthplace to a kind and gentle man that changed that for the better.

His name was John. In the second World War he was a tank jockey who did his part in the war effort. Decorated three times. When the allies won, he migrated to Canada and as fate would have it met a young woman named Margaret Arthur that had suffered the loss of her husband, with only her three year old son left for strength.

    John changed that.

And again this loner from your country was a hero to a broken family. He became a loving husband, a strong father figure that taught a young man -my father- right from wrong, to love/fear God, and the meaning of duty. -Eventually leading that boy to become a police officer for over 30 years-

He also gave them a new surname.

    Percy.

Sadly this good man died in 1985, but as the 20th anniversary of his passing approaches his 'grandson' William Arthur Percy, can clearly remember and honor him like it was yesterday, as his widow and son do.

And in that I take this moment to honor his birthplace and the culture that taught a young man how to be a hero ten-fold.

I've long been an armchair historian of your country, your culture, and often enjoy the tales told by an old friend that recently returned from a three year visit taking film school.

And of what little I know, I can honestly say your a strong country and a proud people.

Here's to you lads (and lassies) sp?

    Merry Christmas.

    :)

Um, hello there, guys. I droped by just to say this:
Well, I'm Greek, but I wish I was Scot. Unfortunately, I am not. Though I must have even the slightest amount of Scottish blood in me (little but strong), because I always felt a very strong affection for Scotland, like Scotland was my homecountry, not Greece. My visit there proved that feeling, since I felt it even stronger there. Who knows?
Anyway, regards to my favorite place on this puny little planet! :)

Hey, I'm no invader! I'm just overly obsessed with your country since I was a baby, and I came here to tell you. If Obi-One has plans to invade Scotland, I'm against him, not with him! ;)

I've been at Ibrox enough times to confirm that they have many Orcs as supports.

Is it really impressive or just weird? Well, I'm honoured either way ;)

It's hard to keep up with football here, though. We've one of the better teams in the American league in my city, but I reckon soccer games have nothing on real football games ;)

I'm angry because I forgot Irn Bru whilst in the UK. I'm sure they had it at my friend's pub down in Dorchester. I just didn't think to ask. My history teacher, who did his student teaching in Scotland, was supposed to remind me before I went as it's one of his favourite beverages :(
