The Mandalorian Season 2 Finale: Who Dies?

Didn't mean to click on Mayfeld. Please disregard. And they already killed Jeans Guy. So that leaves Fennec Shand.

 

Who is Axe Woves

 

He is Bo-Katan's male sidekick.

At this point, I'm actually not expecting any physical deaths, but rather the final "death" of Din's creed, which this season has been ultimately building towards. I imagine that we will see Din lose his fight with Gideon and in the process, is stripped of his Mandalorian armor by Gideon and left for dead without it.

Which would mean, until he ultimately gets the armor back, we'd be seeing a whole lot of Din Djarin navigating the world without it in season three and coming into his own in totally new ways. Wouldn't it be something if that is how he appears to talk to the Armorer, if they ever meet again?

 

I think the Armorer would likely kill Djarin for the helmet stuff and it any case it would cause him to fall out with The Tribe:

Armorer: The Empire is no longer, and the Beskar has returned. When one chooses to walk the way of the Mandalore you are both hunter and prey. How can one be a coward if one chooses this way of life? Have you ever removed your helmet?

Din Djarin: No.

Armorer: Has it ever been removed by others?

Din Djarin: Never.

Armorer: This is the way.

Mandalorians: This is the way.

I think Bo-Katan and Boba Fett already rubbed off on him with the helmet removal.

 

Most likely to bite it in the finale: Axe Woves and Dr. Pershing.

Din let Pershing off the hook last time, but I don't think he'll do that again.

You forgot to mention who was right about Mayfeld.

 

Grogu is totally going to take somebody out with that metal ball! It's going to be like Phantasm! One of the people he'll kill will be Phasma's mother!

I love Ming-Na. But I don’t see anything past of being a Boba Fett supporting character after the finale.

 

Kill her off every season and make her more and more of a cyborg.

 

Well, yeah. I don't think anyone predicted his redemption. And IMO, it was one of the most glorious redemption stories told in Star Wars. In just one episode, Famuyiwa and Burr did what normally takes three movies to do. And he did it with a side character that most fans wanted to shut up and die already. Genius.

This is a TV-14 show don’t think it’s gonna happen

 

Something tells me the whole 'ball throwing' scene between Din and Grogu may come into play in this final episode (or even in the new season) as a way of identifying Din to Grogu. Just a thought.

 

Baby ball as weapon of death is a widely spread idea at this point.
