SNG Sept 15th Cosplay

Here's the "confirmed" timing for the event, strangely not from the mouth of the Organizers:

COSFEST 2002

Time: 1 pm to 7 pm

 

I dun't think i can have the things to be ready on time....arrrghhhh

If i can't get the count dooku cos on time I'll have to go as something else...

I may register to enter the Costume Contest and I may not, as this will depend on how complete my main costume will be by this Sat. And if I enter with the Anime/Manga one, I can't enter the SW one.

About us competing as a group, I can't give a definate answer till the day itself as you all know, I'm double Cosplaying and one 1 is allowed to compete in any competition.

Anyone thinking of meeting at 11.15-11.30am at Pasir Ris MRT Station? I might as I tend to be the early birdie.

 

Ermm. Can we make the time later. I'm sure a lot of people can't make it early. Well if you guys wanna go early just go ahead but just tell me how to get to that darnplace.

I'm very bad with singapore geography...been living under a coconut shell all the while!

 

12.30pm sounds good enough for me. But it's 12.30pm at Pasir Ris MRT Station, after which we'll take the bus 354 from the Bus Interchange. And we better immediately register upon arrival.

I can quickly change into my costume but I think I need some time to adjust the wig, headgear and veil.

Okay, I still haven't finish my Project Report (due on Sat) and I still haven't finish all the parts on the costume. Ouchie!

 

Guys, although I won't be there in person, I'll be there in spirit, cheering you on.

i dun have to register if me not taking part in competition rite... Its ok guyz u go on first. I will probably arive round 2. Do we change our cos there or do we wear it in the station.(most probably not)

 

It's better to change at the event place itself. I'll only wear my Padme Clothes from home and adding on my Anime/Manga costume to it at Downtown East.

Okay, I'll meet you Sidious_101 (and others who're interested?) at 12.30pm on this Sunday at Pasir Ris MRT Station, let say somewhere in front of the Control Station?

I must look for a BIG bag to fill my stuffs today . . . .

 

So how did it go?

 

well it went smoothly, no accidents or other mishaps. There were only 3 of us wearing sw costumes.
Me as I. Royal. G (borrowed from darth_eagle) ,Sidious as C. Dooku and Faiz as Obi 1.
DE and Val came too.
DE in some other costume and Val came dressed up as himself..(A LOSER)
Well we took plenty if photographs so dun worry.
We didn't take part in the contest though.

 

My friend went yesterday and today she told me that she saw some people in Star Wars costumes.

Would love to see the photos.

P.S but the one in the royal guard costume was. He sat in the middle of the room not moving and alot of pple thought he was fake.

One old auntie with a baby went up to him and said "fake one" in chinese and walked away.

Another girl squeezed his shoulder from behind and when he moved she got a fright and ran away.

Dang we should have put a cap or cup in front of him and maybe they might put money inside.

 

You Look far out man Sidious_101[/b}, mysterious for D.E. Yazid_Skywalker the royal guard cool as ever. Didnt manage to see Faiz photo thought. Did your manage to get and group shots? By the way D.E do you know who is shirely? she was at the cos play too.

Looks like you guys had a great time. Wish I could be there, but exams are coming up -- plus I live in the west, so I'd have to travel all the way across the island to Pasir Ris

Heehee, no one saw anything odd on the way home, right? No pretty lady, no black shadow?


I was doing Sevothtarte of Manga/Anime OVA Angel Sanctuary; the most feared Angel before the return of Rociel (the Inorganic Angel, head of "Heaven"). But the headress and cape got screwed up yesterday so it'll be redo one of these days. But the veil manage to stay on my face, than goodness!

Heehee, Faiz; Dead Jedi walking is it? Anyhow, someone post this comment at the sganime message board:

Too bad there were only a few star wars characters around, loved the Imperial Guard, and the Count Dooku and that Jedi (faiz, nice body!!!! lol) cosplayers. Wonder if anyone in Singapore did a Princess Leia with the buns on her head.

Darn! Next time when I do Manga Leia, must get some bodyguards or I'll get glomped!

geez man, i looked bad. esp the shoes, jedi with track shoes, wow, lol.

i had some ubin bike trekking comp. in the morn, and i had to be at Changi Jetty at 8am in the morn. it shouldnt be a problem, unless one stays in clementi, -_-. anyway DE, can u help post the url to the sgcosplay mailing list? and who commented about my body? -_-

Ps: I'm Z_Wesell there and please don't call me by my real name there cause many people still don't know me or know me by my cosplaying "name".


I've gotten all my photos yesterday and had scanned them today so I'll post them at either my Yahoo! Album or Webphotos later after processing them. Hmm, a photo seems to be missing . . .

About photo exchange, how about we have it during our next Get-Together/Meeting this Nov/Dec? Or if you guys want earlier, we could settle on a date and location.
