St. Lou, MO September meeting

Yep, that time again. Any ideas? Want to try for lazertag and dinner again, mini golf, go carting, something completely different?

Saturdays in September:
9/3
9/10 (several are out of town, and I'm hosting a party that day anyway which all are invited to)
9/17
9/24

Personally I'm leaning toward the 17th but it really doesn't matter to me.

 

Well The 9/3 is Labor day weekend , do not see that working.

The 9/10 would work
9/17 would Work, as 9/18 i have a wedding.
9/24 I have to go to the races and 9/25 is the bikers for babies run so that weekend is full too.

9/10, I got tickets to the Cards/Mets game, so that's a no-go for me.

I thought so to, weather depending of course. I can just see us having a "pod race" or the like out there.

So it looks like the 10th is pretty much out then. 9/17 or 9/24?

The 17th will work for me at this time, unless I have another family crisis. Last Sat. my stepdad decided to clean out the garage and was throwing out my mom's stuff. I had to intervene and help her clean it out and put it someplace safe. This was a day after her birthday too. Ugh! Families!!!

 

Where would we go Go-karting? Just wondering...

 

I like the Nascar speedpark at the Mills, but that's just because it's close to me (and they have Star Wars Trilogy Arcade). Location doesn't really matter to me, however.

 

There's a Centerfield sort of place on Manchester over in the Ballwin/Chesterfield area. I know they have go-carts, I don't know what else. I'd like to do some batting cages.

 

I was gonna say, Speedpark is awesome.

 

I'll go along but won't race. I can be a specatator. Someplace that has putt putt golf would be cool too.

 

The Mills has that as well. We had a meeting there once.

Yep. They have mini-golf as well as bumper boats now, too. Speedpark has its own mini-golf (and lasertag), but inside the Mills there's glow-in-the-dark mini-golf.

 

Has anyone been to Swing Around Funtown? I know there is one in Fenton and one in South County on Lemay.

 

Anyone have an Entertainment book? I know there's a coupon in there for a couple places (or used to be). I'd like to find a place South County-ish. It's well past their turn for a meeting.

 

I have one. I will look and see what I can find...

 

I've got an entertainment book, too. We could try to pull as many coupons together as we can. I was actually flipping through it this evening when we were talking about this type of activity.
