St. Lou, MO September meeting

I am up for anywhere, but we should definitely at some point check out the SW arcade and glow in the dark mini golf. That sounds like alot of fun. Of course this would probably need to be after the first of next year. At least for me, with Sept. school clothes, Oct. Halloween and Nov. & Dec. Christmas. Ugh!

 

The South County area coupons in the entertainment book that are along the same mini-golf/bumper boat/batting cages vain that I found are for Swing Around Fun Town in Fenton. They've got some good ones - buy one get one free bumper boats or Go-Kart rides, bogo jumpshot basketball or kiddie track ride, and three batting cages tokens when you buy three batting cages tokens.

 

Why don't we go to that place then?

 

Not that it matters to me because I won't be able to get off any weekend this month really, Swing around fun town" sucks on weekends, it is so crowded and it's where all the teenie-boppers go... You know the one's I'm talking about, the thirteen year olds with their butt cheeks hanging out their shorts! Anyway, the go carts are some of the slowest in StL area, the bumper boat pond is small and smells kinda funny, the mini golf course sucks because all of the teenie boppers play their own way and will walk and play on your green while you're trying to putt, but, the food is decent. I love their pizza! I'll try to go to next months get together and meet everybody.

 

Man, I'm new to this board and that last post made me sound like a bitter old man... I'm not, I swear! There is a place in South County off of Lemay called Tee Time that is alright but still busy, faster go-carts than SAFT, and a wee-bit better food, but I've never played the golf there so I don't have a clue how that is! And again, sorry I sounded like such a jerk in that last post

 

Is September 17th a definitive date? If so, I can request off for it then.

There's a widely used term for the teenie boppers nowadays... I believe the term is prostitots. There's another one too, I forget what it is. It's just about as funny though.

I heard the go-carts at SAFT are very slow as well. The ones at Speedpark are very fast, and on one of the tracks they have designed, they slide around. Very fun. Also, their other cars they have out there are restricted to those that have drivers licenses. Those are the fastest that they have. Good stuff!

 

As I said before, I won't be able to go, but I really do think the best bet would be StL Mills! And I am really lookin forward to Octobers meeting, I'd really like to meet you guys, just readin the posts you all seem like a pretty cool crowd! Just sucks bein the new guy and entering a group of old friends, but I'll make the best of it. And I know we all have something in common... Star Wars

 

The 17th is definate. We're going to a place in South County since it's waaaaaaay past their turn for a meeting. I think Danielle knows the name of the place with the coupons, I always forget it.

 

Teenagers are not as bad as everyone thinks. The place will probably be packed, but I think that most teenagers are given a bad rap. Of course I do teach 7th graders so I am pretty numb to the antics they do.

We always have a Halloween meeting the Saturday before Halloween.
