I'm looking forward to and will certainly see:
    Rogue One
    X-Men - Apocalpyse
    Captain America 3
    Dr. Strange
    Deadpool
    Suicide Squad

I'm sure I will see, but a little more hesitant:
    ID4 -2
    Ghostbusters
    Star Trek 3

There are a few others I'm interested in, but I don't have to go see in the theater, at least I don't think so at this time. I'm aparently one of those people who keeps the sequels going. ;)

Those are my no-doubt-about-it must sees; I worry that I'm going to be dragged into watching Friday The 13th and/or TMNT2.

I get why there's a sequel, but I still need help understanding the domestic and international success of Now You See Me part 1.

My memory is admittedly failing and not what it once was, and there are so many things I don't remember with any clarity, and I distinctly don't remember seeing any short film in front of ESB on opening day in 1980.

You sense that I am irked by being made aware of ESB lore I didn't already know.

You would have been even more irked by the fb headline that got me there; "There's another Star Wars film coming out. But this one's a bit different".

That segment is pretty much the source of every nightmare I had at the age of 4 and 5.

I don't really have an issue with that because they're adapting one really famous sequence. The live action Tinker Bell movie on the other hand.....

Someday Tinker Bell is going to get her own $200 million action adventure movie.

Edit. Oh I see. That's already happened.

Why are they making two more Divergent films? Insurgent was awful, and it underperformed.

Shaileen and Miles deserve better. They really do.

I wish Disney would reboot Gargoyles into a live action movie. I'd be the first in line, especially if the movie took place entirely in medieval Scotland.

I'm looking forward to X-Men: Apocalypse. Interested to see Oscar Isaac in the superhero genre. Captain America 2 is one of my very favorite Marvel movies, so I'm hopeful about Civil War. I'm down for Trek 3; loved the first two.

I just can't see Neighbors 2 being any good, though I loved the first one. Likewise, I enjoyed Now You See Me, but I just don't know what you do for an encore. And are they really doing a new Friday the 13th? Didn't they already reboot this once?

And I am hopeful, but not very optimistic, about Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist. The Conjuring is one of the best horror films ever; not even The Babadook scared me that much. The first thirty minutes or so of The Conjuring is probably the most suspenseful, terrifying time I've ever spent watching a movie. Can they duplicate that? I'm . . . doubtful. But I certainly hope so.

They definitely do. They're the only reason I considered seeing anything in that series, but I didn't see either of them. The first one also got pretty bad reviews, but if I remember correctly you actually liked the first one, right? So even as a fan of the first one, you found the second one pretty terrible?

But, yeah, I'm reduced to watching Woodley in stuff like The Fault in Our Stars in order to catch her brilliance (and she was genuinely awesome in that movie, bad as much of it was). Teller's doing better in terms of getting movies worthy of his talent with Whiplash and I'm hoping his next movie (not counting F4) is good. He's playing a boxer, I think. I've heard only a smidge about it; I think it played Cannes or something and got good notices. Don't even remember the title. Have you seen The Spectacular Now? It's got them both and they're both super good in it. But, yeah, they're two really phenomenal actors that I hope get more success. Maybe with more name recognition right now, they can build on that to get some quality movies made.

I thought Insurgent was okay (Woodley vs. Winslet was some decent dramatic heft) but I think that's more a case of "The Production train is moving and we can't stop!!!" It didn't bomb but it underperformed which is enough to go "eh, keep going".

The problem is if studios keep the trolley moving and then have multiple installments tank, that would be bad for the whole studio model. Lucas and Spielberg were right!
