Rocky M, NC "Serenity" is a GO!

Fans of Firefly can rejoice. Serenity, the name of the ship in Firefly, will be debuting on the big screen soon. Universal Studios has given Joss Whedon $35 million plus budget to write and direct Serenity. Rumor is pre-production should to begin this summer and the original cast should be reprising their roles. Exciting news indeed.

I haven't found the "Built To Rule" version of Firefly yet, but I did find the 12" Zartan. Now I'm holding out for the 12" helmeted Cobra Commander.

Big crew coming to see Last Samurai tonight, you guys... you ought to come on up and hang with us.

 

The Last Samurai was an excellent film! Who'd've thunk that Thom Cruz (Deadpool comic (the series) inside funny) could be in a GREAT movie besides Goldmember??? Who, I ask? Who?

 

Indeed. I was highly impressed.

 

I still stand by my previous statements. It was a good remake of Dance's With Wolves.

 

You actually WATCHED Dances With Wolves??? Oh my! Hey! We've found one! We've found one!!!

The Last Samurai is a groovy film.... is a good film... is a nice film...

 

...is a great film!

 

Firefly is top shelf material... it was a little slow at first but once the action starts you can see a very well done dynamic...

Personally, I think Joss Whedon is a prick... he has taken something very sacred ( qualities I admire in women ) and broken them into 4 different people which causes one to have to make a choice... btw, if I can ever find a woman with all these qualities I may actually settle down ( yes I realize there are some conflicting qualites here ).

Zoe ( The Soldier ) - Strong, self-sufficient.
Kaylee ( The Mechanic ) - Naive yet hard working.
Inara ( The Ambassador ) - Sexy and well educated.
River ( The Innocent ) - For those that know me this girl has that certain undeniable appeal... almost lost and needs someone to look after her... yet at the same time very insightful and perceptive with an intelligence that defies reason.
