Sadly I cannot attend as I am in the middle of a two-week observing program at Mt Wilson Observatory near Pasadena. ;-)

Hey guys. its looking more and more like i have to work OT this weekend and i may not get to the con until sunday....is there anybody...one of the transformers guys maybe...who could pick me up a copy of the special Transformers Preview being offered at the con.
I have money. I can pay back asap! I just know if I go Sunday, it will be sold out and I will be a sad sad collector.

Please help!

Well, I'm going after that comic myself, but somehow I doubt that it will be easy to pick up more then one copy per person, considering the demand...

 

There are 7 of us making the trip in from Niagara (+ two that live in Oakville).

John and I will not be going in to the con (we don't think) so who will we be meeting up with in the park or lobby of the con?

 

I'll be at the lobby/park. Can we lobby in the park?

I'm not sure about the asbestos, but I'll be in the lobby/park as well.

 

I know Ken was abducted cause they put him on the table next to me.

Of course they weren't as nice to Ken, they shoved that thing right up ther ....errrrr.....well I don't want to bring back any horrible memories for him.

 

Sadly, I'll be missing out. No spaghetti for me. Family event that weekend.

Well, i'm still there, just await the costumed freaks in their tupperware suits to arrive at my place before heading out.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend today or tonight. I don't feel very well. I will fast today.

 

well i didnt make it i wasnt feeling good either, but i made it to work, which is across the street from the con so i was teased both friday and saturday, i dont think ill be there today cuss i gotta work tonight and i just got home, oh well concept is not far away and im going to that unless i dont make it back from the maritimes

 

So for the folks who made it....

what happened? was it fun? didjya meet anyone? how'd the dinner go? is there a groundswell of support behind my motion to change the city's name to Toroton?

Enquiring minds want to know.

 

I'm not sure about changing your fine city's name, but we DID meet the upcoming new Mayor. His name is K. Clarke....and he rollerblades with a missing wheel or two in front of the Spaghetti Factory, while singing and drawing cheerful grafitti on the sidewalk with clumps of weeds.......

 

We had fun but you were missed Tragic!

Speaking of which, Sabrina - if you're out there - I was hoping to see you & hear about your new job! Kenobi and I even had a seat empty at our table...

Well, your absence just gave me more time to talk about Star Trek!

I know, I'm sorry, I was planning to attend but then the people I had gone to the con with and I ended up spending WAY more at the con than we should have and found ourselves without food money. But there is always next time! On the bright side, anyone got a moded playstation they are looking to sell for a reasonable price?
