I tend to go with he had a son who was the father of Kol and Nat. Otherwise Ben didn't have kids till c.70-80 ABY when he was 50-60.

Yeah, in my view, Ben is the grandfather, not the father.

Similarly, Jag and Jaina are Roan’s grandparents. Roan’s wife was a Force sensitive Hapan noble.

Ku’ar Danar found Korriban before the Hundred Years Darkness and decided to stay, sending back the other Jedi in the expedition. He became the first Dark Lord of the Sith and left for Nilbremah, leaving a unified Korriban under Dathka Garush, performing his own experiments on Nibremah. Danar manipulated the start of the Hundred Years Darkness before being killed during his own experiments, surviving as a spirit anchored to a monolith. He nonetheless acted as Sadow’s spectral Master, and sought to lead his own schemes to resurrect himself, eventually crossing paths with time-travelling Rebels due to a hyperspace accident.

    Basically the s-Canon aside.

What I wish was canon but Aftermath: Life Debt (thanks Chuck Wendig) and Battlefront II (thanks EA) was that when both Death Stars exploded, they actually vaporised, thus leaving no pieces of metal or anything at all.

In the movies, its clear from the explosions they didn't leave behind any debris so its clear it was clearly vaporised.

But alas, it never could be and I'm not going to contradict canon for my own headcanon.

The glittery bits left after the first Death Star explosion could be fragments rather than vapour, even using movie content. And for the second Death Star, you can see what look like red chunks flying away from it, from the Endor viewpoint:

That said, I would agree that the vast majority of the Death Star's mass was unrecoverable - too small to even qualify as fragments.

. . . it's weird that all your ire is reserved for New Canon, when Legends also had there be chunks of the Death Star.

Also, it's a freaking massive explosion seen from a distance, sure we see lots of sparks and fire but that dosn't mean it's "clear" that there's no debris.

Heck you could argue that when Alderaan blows up we see a similar effect, and yet 2 mintues later we see the Falcon fly through a meteor shower made of Alderaan chunks.

I only think that because I remember seeing this ad for the Star Wars Miniatures, and force ghost Luke calls Cade his great-grandson.
    Source: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/St...nt?file=Lotf_ad_from_KOTOR_campaign_guide.jpg
But that ad might not be canon for obvious reasons lol.

Oh I have great annoyance with any Death Star debris being seen in Legends as well (there was that comic that showed an intact Executor despite smashing into the DSII and exploding and I was rather annoyed when they was declared canon just to get the pilots Wister and Krist in).

@Noash_Retrac Even though I disagree about the Death Star debris, I agree with you that the sizable chunk of Executor being crashed on Endor is just silly.

My head canon is a bit odd. Because I loved the EU, when Disney announced the canon / legends separation I struggled a bit. In the end though I imagined an event in the SW universe similar to what we had with the first JJ Abrams Star Trek movie where both the old films and the new films could be true. As Pratchett used to say, each timeline takes place down a different leg of the great trousers of time. So I imagine that some time shifting, universe altering, event took place which forked time at a certain point just after Return of the Jedi. The universe divided and in one part the NJO happened and in the other the current canon happened. It's a bit contrived but it makes me happy that those fabulous NJO stories are still true in my head.

From ANH, the other senior ISB Officer seen with Yularen is none other than Dezix- who the Death Star Technical Companion said was the head of the ISB contingent aboard the Death Star several years prior to the character that became Yularen was ever even named.

It's worth noting that nothing at all in the EU contradicts this possibility, and Yularen has never really specifically said to be the head of the ISB on the Death Star- rather, and ISB Officer assigned to Tarkin's staff and also responsible for maintaining loyalty and security aboard the battlestation, in addition to being part of the command heirarchy. With such wide-ranging responsibilities, it would make sense that the actual ISB Operations Chief would be Dezix from the DSTC. Yularen and Dezix are not at all mutually exclusive. Dezix would therefore be Yularen's deputy, and likely working closely alongside him.

Even if that otherwise unidentified ISB Officer isn't Dezix, I also like the idea that he is present alongside Yularen as his personal aide and bodyguard- particularly since he wears the utility/ammo packs on his belt that Yularen doesn't.

My headcanaon ending for the EU:

Luke stays as the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order, eventually dies peacefully and becomes one with the Force.

Han and Leia end up moving to Corellia, and Han reluctantly becomes the new President of the Correllian system. No one else who wanted the job could be trusted, and Han decided to settle down and take care of his beloved homeworld. With Leia's help, Corellia becomes one one the great galactic powers, alongside the Galactic Alliance, Imperial Remnant, and Hapes.

Lando runs for president of the GA and wins. He brings his business acumen to the job and a new wave of prosperity washes over the Galaxy.

Jaina and Jag rule the IR justly. The Imperial Knights use Silver blades as a way to honor their Corellian heritages. Tahiri is the first Imperial Knight.

Ben Skywalker never becomes the Grandmaster of the Order, but as a Master Jedi he goes on to train many new Force sensitives and build good relations with the Galactic Alliance Guard. We know he eventually has a wife but I think she would not be another Jedi. Maybe someone from the Alliance Guard?

    The Corellian Jedi!

My headcanon about the IK blades is that their crystals came from consciously undoing the work of the old Empire, "cleaning" crystals in the Empire's possession that had been made to "bleed," like Ahsoka.
