moderation is the key with maple syrup...too many folks pour it on like any other condiment, including the misunderstood generic knock off syrup.

The sweet nectar of the tree cannot be splashed on like ketchup of vinegar or hot sauces...just a hint, lovingly unified with a butter or margarine melted to perfect consistency...that is when thou shalt find the bliss of the maple.

 

So the syrup is a lie?
