Games Shelf of Shame - Game Rules in OP

I'll count D & D as a "yes" because I have a vague memory of trying it one time as a kid in the 80s. Not sure I even finished that game but have some memory of the die piece and different characters. I seem to remember having trouble getting into it, but then of course I think I only gave it one try

I do remember that several of my close guy friends in junior and senior high were really into it. We had a D & D club at my high school and they were members. For some reason, my memory is that at the time it seemed to be almost exclusively guys who were into it (but that could be due to my extremely limited first-hand experience with it).

I've never played D&D, but I love Advanced D&D episode of Community.

 

I have not played Ticket to a ride (probobly not something giving me many points but something I feel I should have played)

I played D&D as a teen, and I played a Marvel game that followed the same set of rules even more. I tended to enjoy causing havoc, and I'm sure the Dungeon Masters who led the games hated dealing with me!

I've heard so much about it from my friends and how much fun it is, but I have not played Ticket To Ride yet.

 

The only "Ticket to Ride" I know is the Beatles song (which I naturally adore), so nope, never heard of or played that game.
