Games Shelf of Shame - Game Rules in OP

I'm almost positive that I've never played it. When I was really young I remember going over to the house of a neighbor who owned it. I didn't played it, but I messed around with the game's Rube Goldberg contraption, which was almost impossible to get to work properly.

ok, so I googled popular games for ideas am going to go with 1 of the 2 game titles that I recognized/had heard of but have not played...


Description: "Axis & Allies is a board game that allows the players to simulate the epic sweep of World War II, from Japan attacking Pearl Harbor to the Allied invasion of Normandy and the eventual defeat of the Axis nations of Germany, Italy and Japan."

I actually think hubby and I still have his childhood version of this game in the house somewhere...but I have not played it myself.

 

played a lot of risk, but never axis and allies.

 

I've seen that once or twice, but I haven't played it.

 

I've played it. It's a pain in the *** to set up all the pieces and do all those combat dice rolls. Then one day I found free computer game version that at least removes that slow, tedious aspect of the game. It still wasn't that exciting, though I played through it maybe 2-3 times.

Yes, this exactly describes my experience playing it, and being reminded of it now, I thought maybe a computerized version of the game would make it better. Glad to know that exists! I'll have to give it a try.

I’ve never played Battleship.

 

I've played Chutes and Ladders, but never Axis and Allies

 

I see Tunes changed it, but I've definitely played Chutes and Ladders and Battleship (lots of metaphorical table flipping with Battleship)

 

Never played A&A, but have played Battleship

 

As much as I played Battleship, I should've been an admiral.

 

How do you get this far in life without having played Battleship?

I even liked the movie. It wasn't a good movie, but USS Missouri looked awe-inspiring as she fired full 9-gun 16-inch salvoes on the big screen.
