And here's mine... I've never read Catcher in the Rye. Not sure how I got out of school without that one.

Had considered using Catcher in the Rye myself for my turn. Was never assigned in my high school (or college) classes and somehow never got around to it on my own (despite thinking for years "I should read that..")

 

I was an English major but they figured we'd read it in high school. But in high school I did IB which is internationally focused so we read very little American literature.

 

I started reading it for sophomore year English, but as usual for that period of my life, procrastinated and never got very far, so, no, I have not read it. And, lol, that was also the same year I joined the JC!

 

I’ve read it of my own volition!

It’s fine.

 

It's my favorite book of all time. Shame on all of you who haven't read it! Shaaaaame on you. Build a shelf....of your shame.

It's not going to really matter at this point because my fellow CBS Sunday Morning buddy @Pensivia is the winner of this round and @Coruscant isn't not kind of sort of absolutely the Person of Culture!!
