Disney can barely figure out if Disney+ is going to be available here in 2021 despite initially claiming we would have it in mid-2020; I’m not holding my breath.

Round 2 will be movies, if everyone is okay with that. April is Oscars month, since the ceremony itself is at the end of the month.

Hey guys, my laptop finally died on me on Sunday, so I had to buy a new one (posting on it now, Dell G5 15, it's sleek, light, and gorgeous) so I'm thinking of starting the movie round in the next week or two. Probably in two weeks, unless people want to start it next week.

What say you? Also, are you guys enjoying this? I'm open to feedback. Either post it here or PM me. I'll only cry a little bit.

One week or two, doesn't really matter to me.

 

As I said before, people need to make more of an effort to check in so that one round doesn't take months. Other than that everything's good.

The main problem is that this is in F&G, and most of the participants don't post in F&G. Maybe it'll get easier.

Yeah that's why I said it maybe wasn't the best idea to have the sign ups start in JCC. Anyway I would just do a brand new sign up for the next game.

 

I plan to do a sign up. I'll keep this thread, won't start a new one.

 

I would also say you can make it go a little faster by not waiting for everyone to answer the question we're on before going to the next person. Just hold it and let the laggard answer 2-3 at a time. I know sometimes I can have limited time, and I'd rather come back and answer three "have you watched this" then have six-hundred tagging notifications and be holding up the game.

 

Personally, I think a 24 hour time limit for each round wouldn't hurt. Haven't multiple people going at the same time may work but sounds a little chaotic.
P.S. I personally would still opt in for a tag before a round ends just in case.

 

it's a silly game so it doesn't really matter of course, but the problem with setting a time limit is that if somebody has read/seen/heard the thing in question they could simply choose not to answer in the 24 hours thus denying the person who picked the thing those sweet, sweet points.

 

Maybe we could use an honor system like with the Whammagedon?

 

The time limit is a good idea. I'm inconsistently on here, as is, which is the main reason why round 1 lasted for thousands of years. I'll just go on more in the evenings, I guess.
