This is so cool. I've always been a big fan of stop motion, and love this application here.

 

I just realized Mando didn't get a new ship yet. I'm guessing with those Mandal Motors ships that cameod in the episode that Bo-Katan can get him something new- if she isn't too salty about the Datksaber.

 

Loved seeing the Mando Gauntlet Fighter parked here. Didn't get any play in today's episode, but I'm sure Bo-Katan and company will be making use of it in season three.

I bet that Gideon's cruiser is the sort of "hub" location that Din and the rest of the characters call home next season. Park that Gauntlet Fighter in there, repurpose the TIES, etc.

 

I wonder which shyster got the contract to supply the Imperial Navy with their state-of-the-art surveillance systems? I have seen better CCTV nailed to the wall of my local convenience store.

 

Agreed, but it worked for the episode by being clear enough to show what was happening, and not clear enough to see who it was until the appropriately dramatic moment.

 

A repurposed Sith Infiltrator would be nice

 

Personally, Slave I just sneaks in front of the Millennium Falcon for Star Wars best ever ship after watching season 2

 

Funny that when we first saw it we had no idea how it 'worked', then we had the Prequels and now The Mandalorian showing how cool it is inside and out.

Can't agree with top billing though, the X-Wing will forever hold that place in my heart.

 

I must admit, I did a "whoa" when I saw the hull rotating around the interior

 

I love the Slave I exterior and rotating back interior. Seriously cool. One of the best in Star Wars. But the Razorcrest cockpit was a better set, IMO. Really liked the look of it.

 

I agree, it was a splendid cockpit. But.... it was it's one redeeming feature

 

NO. It is a cool ship...but the Falcon is always #1.

 

I just love how Slave 1 flies "standing up", it's just so quirky, but cool at the same time.

 

Din's not going to get a new ship. He's going to be the GFFA's version of Caine from Kung Fu. Just "walking" his way across the galaxy, helping those in need.

 

Din has to travel everywhere with his jetpack now.

 

He's got Gideon's Imperial Cruiser now Luke has destroyed all of the Dark Troopers.

 

I wonder whether they will paint blue highlights on the hull?

 

Got to paint the Clan Mudhorn logo surely?

 

I bet there's a little Mando ready to do a massive bit of graffiti.

 

Didn't Din pretty much promise the Arquitens to Bo-Katan as part of the deal? Seems like that's a fait accompli now.

 

Yes...Din just wanted to rescue Grogu...The ship is Bo-Katan's.
