Should NASA return to the moon?

Should they? I think so. Will they? Doubt it.

 

Absolutely, if they set themselves clear goals in exploration and scientific research.

This includes determining once and for all if the moon has any cheese content whatsoever, and if so, finding out if it was created by a giant space cow or a giant space goat.

To not go back to the moon, would be like Christopher Columbus sailing to America, sighting the continent, but then turning back again.

It is time America returned. It is cruical to have a base in the moon. If we have that we can easily set up future missions like that of Mars. We can also mine on Mars. I doubt Bush is telling the truth. I don't think we will set up a base on the moon for a while. We need a good economy and a progressive President and Congress.

Yes NASA should plan on returning to the moon. We should continue to explore space, and strive to push the envelope of our technology, and move out farther into space. Even as we come up on the 1 year anniversary of the Columbia accident, we should remember those who died in the pursuit of discovery, and honor them by continuing foward.
