Finished up the cover art for Paranormalities: Episode III's prologue, with and without the logo.
Spoiler: Spoilers for those who haven't finished reading Episode II. Otherwise, you'll be spoiled or it would only make sense in context
A detail you might not notice due to resolution is that I spray painted some red pixels on the scalpel to make it look rusted.

I dig it!
The only problem is that the black text comes up barely visible on better-quality monitors. Perhaps a slight drop shadow would do?
Been a long time. Here's a cover for divapilot's The God of Second Chances, winner of the Best Epic award in Beyond last year.
Dang, I gotta get in on this. out of curiosity, do we provide the links for images?
Wait, what? I am confused.
Nehru, here's how it works (at least to my understanding, since I lack the skills to actually make cover art like this): if you have created cover art for either one of your own stories or for someone else, you can post that art here. To do so, you can use the [ img ] and [ /img ] tags (without the spaces, of course), with the link to the image posted between the opening and closing tag; the image should then show up in the body of the post. Does this answer your question, or am I misunderstanding what you're asking?
Findswoman: No, I think you are misunderstanding me.
Ewok Poet: I meant that if I want a custom cover for one of my stories that the creator of this thread has kindly volunteered to do so, I think I need to provide links to the sorts of images I want used. At least, I think that's the gist of it.
The thread was started in 2011 and the thread starter has been MIA for a long time.
Nehru_Amidala, sorry I misunderstood. It's true that the originator of the thread hasn't been around in a long time, but I think you can indeed still use this thread to request that someone make a cover for you (and yes, with links to the relevant images). Now, whether requests get taken on depend on people's schedules, etc., but it's worth asking, and this is indeed the place to ask.
Yahoo- new cover for "The Winter Rose Suite".
A new story I am thinking up. About characters, see here, in this thread: http://boards.theforce.net/threads/make-a-star-wars-character.50042691/
And, btw, I have NOT forgot about this one either: http://boards.theforce.net/threads/clone-wars-alternate-ending.50043760/
That's more of a long term project though
I need to request a cover for "The Winter Rose Suite".
Give me some image links that you want, I can put something together to your satisfaction By tomorrow afternoon.
oooh! I like those parameters. Can I PM you the pictures?
Do you have examples of your work that I can see first? Thanks.
Well, post #138, above. That one I threw together quickly though. I promise to put way more effort into anything I do for other people lol
Here's another one I made, using the utter sugary cureness Raissa Baiard drew for me. Click to see it in its full size.
I need to show off the one for "Winter Rose Suite".
Hey Ewok Poet, I want to put the cover you made me in my fic, but I don't think it will be the right size. Is it possible for me to reduce the size? How do I do that?
Have I told you how much I love that cover?
How do you guys do that lettering over the images? It's very very cool.
Ewok Poet did you make those covers? Wow, something else you're wonderful at.
For the last one, Raissa Baiard drew the Ewoks and yes, I made the others myself, using some stock images and fonts. I combine it all in Adobe Photoshop, where lettering is a normal functionality. But I believe that you could do that sort of a thing with Photoshop Elements, Gimp or some other free program, too.
As for pretty fonts, you can find them on DaFont, Font Squirrel and similar websites. One I love is League of Moveable Type. They don't offer many fonts, but all they have is just wow.
So. divapilot is getting an e-book for her win in the Fifty Titles Challenge, and here's the cover art Mr Chyntuckopoulos and I came up with:
