    Finished up the cover art for Paranormalities: Episode III's prologue, with and without the logo.

    A detail you might not notice due to resolution is that I spray painted some red pixels on the scalpel to make it look rusted.

    The only problem is that the black text comes up barely visible on better-quality monitors. Perhaps a slight drop shadow would do? :)

    Nehru, here's how it works (at least to my understanding, since I lack the skills to actually make cover art like this): if you have created cover art for either one of your own stories or for someone else, you can post that art here. To do so, you can use the [ img ] and [ /img ] tags (without the spaces, of course), with the link to the image posted between the opening and closing tag; the image should then show up in the body of the post. Does this answer your question, or am I misunderstanding what you're asking?

    Ewok Poet: I meant that if I want a custom cover for one of my stories that the creator of this thread has kindly volunteered to do so, I think I need to provide links to the sorts of images I want used. At least, I think that's the gist of it.

    Nehru_Amidala, sorry I misunderstood. It's true that the originator of the thread hasn't been around in a long time, but I think you can indeed still use this thread to request that someone make a cover for you (and yes, with links to the relevant images). Now, whether requests get taken on depend on people's schedules, etc., but it's worth asking, and this is indeed the place to ask. :)

    For the last one, Raissa Baiard drew the Ewoks and yes, I made the others myself, using some stock images and fonts. I combine it all in Adobe Photoshop, where lettering is a normal functionality. But I believe that you could do that sort of a thing with Photoshop Elements, Gimp or some other free program, too. :)

    As for pretty fonts, you can find them on DaFont, Font Squirrel and similar websites. One I love is League of Moveable Type. They don't offer many fonts, but all they have is just wow.
