So came out in the GoL a few days ago but want to do so here as well now as its the part of the forum I post the most.

You will remember that I registered here as male and used a male character in the GoL (and briefley before that in the Sith) forum. Since then a lot has changed in my life and I have realized a lot about myself that, for the longest time didn't want to be true, but now finally accept: I´m Trans. A transwoman.
Also changed my account gender officially to female now. Might change my username as well in the not too distant future but have to deliberate on the new one a bit before that.

ALF was seriously disturbing for me as a kid which is why I never watched it but I really like this intro and it's one of the best I've ever seen for a cartoon in the 80s!

Eh, maybe the rest of us just haven't been feeling very talky lately. I thought your joke was funny. Though I really like the way Bon Jovi sings it.

 

I just got back from vacation and missed some people here while writing fanfic in my spare time. Hope everyone’s doing well.

 

I've just been distracted by other things. Was on vacation earlier this month and did a lot of adventure-y stuff (whitewater rafting, ATV mudding, mountain biking, ziplining, whitewater kayaking lessons, high ropes course). Then it was back to the work grind. Got out last week and did some hiking and kayaking in local parks. Signed up tonight for a weekend intro-to-backpacking trip in October. Rediscovered Pokémon GO after over a year of barely touching the app. Just little things happening here and there.

 

Sounds more adventurous than me for sure---I just go to work and then I come home

 

I’ve been indoors a lot with work and training for volunteer work, but I just spent four days in California and got to do hiking, swimming, yoga, baking, art-appreciating, and podcasting. Other than a sunburn, it was delightful.

New position at work, running kids camps, travelling for work, I don’t even want to calculate how few days I was actually in town in August.
