Unfortunately we only have a large, open public park around us. I think the Nasty's need to come up with an area for such an event since they live in Prime Alien Abduction Area.

We have the perfect spot! A lake near our house has a peninsula/island with a narrow entrance that is heavily tree covered. We could be like wild crazy people on a deserted island inflicting horrible pain upon each other with our paint!

Its not so much a lake as a pond... well, more like a medium sized sump.

Its good for breeding mosquitos or ripping the keel off a sailboat.

Why bother with paint... If you want horrible pain we could just use rocks and sticks, like in Lord of Flies.

or we are just back to having house monkeys.

i tried calling up a friend to go out to eat with, but he has a wife AND 3 kids so he needs more than 3 minutes notice to do something. :-(

Yep, house monkeys can't be left alone until the ripe old age of around 12 I'd say...Of course I was watching my brothers alone when I was 10 or 11...

We always tell people we got her a pizza and pay-per-view when they ask where our 4 yr old is.

Anyone for "Arkham Horror" -- it's a game for 1 to 8 people, basd on the Cthulhu Mythos, and you'll more than likely die before finishing. It's the basic "Call of Cthulhu" game, but streamlined into an utterly complicated boardgame, and not as utterly complicated as the RPG. LOL.

I've been looking at the character sheets, and I might make some additional sheets for the cast of Scooby-Doo, since the serious side of the cartoon is very much alongside the lines of doom.
