I don't think I could eat a Swan if I knew what it was. But deer, crocodile, kangaroo...

I'll have to get the address of the restaurant from my friend. It's in london and very posh. He won a chef award and won a prize for a meal for four there when we were students.

 

Not deer. You can't eat Bambi. It's just not right.

 

Swan is DAMN good meat. One of the nicest I've tried!

Venison is boring now... eaten way too much of it. For a nice variation, Chet, see if you can find some Muntjak. That's a pretty damn good variety of venison! Small chinese water deer. Quite prolific in the midlands area.

I haven't eaten donkey... but if someone was to offer me a donkey steak and fries then I wouldn't pass it up!

 

Well my then girlfriend ate deer. I tried some of hers. She was a veg for six years cause she thought it was cruel to eat animals and watched a propaganda film. Then she went out with me.

 

How can you eat chicken (Mel Gibson) or pork (Porky, Miss Piggy)? Every animal was given human characteristics at some point in some movie.

Anyone tried Veal?

 

That's one thing I will NOT eat... veal is gross and how they get veal is gross.... no thanks.

Salami is gross too... don't care if it's donkey sausage or no!

Meat is fantastic and I'd never give it up for anything. Though chicken is bugging me now... the old man brings back chicken nearly every day now from work... bah! Seriously fed up of that stuff now...

 

Veal is gorgeous. The Case restaurant in Leicester cook it beautifully.

 

I LOVE chicken. I COULD eat it every day I think.

 

Salami is great. Actually that's one thing the Italians do well, besides wine and cheese is meat.

Salami + Parma Ham + Lettuce + Mayo in ciabatta bread = gorgeous

 

So you've never found yourself sitting at the dinner table with a big piece of chicken on your plate, putting a piece in your mouth and starting to chew you suddenly realize you've just taken a bite out of someone's leg?
