Saw the midnight showing of this last night. I've read the comics since I was a kid and I was pretty happy with the way the movie turned out. Not the greatest film, but I thought they got the characters pretty well. It's a fun movie.

welll i 'might' have been on saturday, but i don't usually get online during the weekend.

but actually i was entertaining guest. so that was fun.

i DID manage to catch it up in greeley-land after church yesterday.

it was OK. i mean i guess with movies like spiderman & x-men being so fanstatic. (no pun intended) it is a hard standard to live up to.

though, i do like MR. Fanstatic. he he soo cute.

Anyone else getting kinda tired of all the super hero movies? X-men and spidey are good, but now Hollywood seems to just want to flood the market.

If it works once... They will milk it for all it's worth... We now have several psychic detective shows getting ready to start on TV because ONE is doing well :p

Plus, why spend all that money of ORIGINAL material ;) That's how we get movies like these: Dukes of Hazzard, Charlie's Angels, Scooby Doo, Bad News Bears, Stepford Wives, War of the Worlds, and The New Gilligan's Island

I don't know, a good superhero movie makes me really happy. There are still a few I'm waiting for, and crossing my fingers that they'll be done well:
Wonder Woman (I think Joss Whedon is directing, so there's hope)
Watchmen (could be something good...could be something not so good)
Wild Cards (It'll probably never happen, but a girl can dream)

Heck, as long as they keep putting out quality shtuff like X-Men, Spider Man & Batman (Begins, mind you), I'm down with the whole Superhero trend.

Unfortunately, there also seems to be a fair share of shlock that gets doled out all too frequently as well: Punisher, Cat Woman, Elektra.

I'd peg Daredevil & The Hulk somewhere in between the top-notch stuff & the other cr@p.

Hellboy & League of Extraordinary Gentlemen are probably somewhere in the same range as DD & Hulk as well.

Never saw Constantine or Sin City, so can't really offer up an opinion one way or the other.

Not sure whatever became of the Iron Fist flick that was slated to feature Ray Park.

I'm interested to see what Singer brings to the Superman franchise.

I've heard various rumors from all sides concerning X-3, so who knows how that's gonna turn out.

Not sure what the status is on Ghost Rider, either.

I really hope Wonder Woman is good, since so far in the realm of lone women super heroes, all we really have is Elektra and Catwoman. Yikes!

I rewrote The Hulk in my head, so it's okay now. :)
