Dorkman stepped down two or three years ago. DVeditor did the same about one year ago.

Lame. It seems so long ago since I was on the set of Ryan vs Dorkman 2... the tortillas were delicious.

Heights? Maybe so, but it's about embodiment: Vapes is Keyser Söze.

Wish I could ask this question on the Lightsaber thread but I just remembered that it's lock.

I was wondering if anyone has roto'ed a lightsaber in AE CS5.5 using Rotobrush yet.

I haven't, but I've rotoed with it pretty extensively. Alas, it is not the best tool for either. It doesn't have the ingenuity to accomplish such a difficult task, wouldn't have anywhere near the precision of hand roto. There's no substitute. The roto brush is really only good for rough garbage masks which STILL require hand roto, or greenscreen footage.

No, this is pretty much what I was going for. I was leaving it up to the next guy. Well done. [face_peace]
I'm not even sure what meaning I should take from that, but I like it.

Wow really?? I've heard nothing but good things about it. Even saw nothing but good things about it through several tutorials. What a shame that it's no good for tough situations.

On the plus side, I now know how to work with a Red Epic Cinema Camera. Good day so far :D

    That's awesome Obi Juan.

I use footage shot from RED for selling tvs at work. it's the best for when I turn on the 2d to 3d converter. Looks amazing.

No, but I don't think it's clever enough to do that. I've used the tool extensively in my latest(albeit unreleased) short, and for garbage mattes that doesn't really need my full attention, it works well enough, but if you're rotoing moving people, use some actual roto tools, like Silhouette.

Do we have to make up a special handshake when we see a board member in person?

Actually, outsiders can still participate in the contest. Many want in without having to sign up to TF.N. We're living in a world where signing up for a forum online is too much work. That's what the Facebook LCC page is for...

These will be the same people who respond with "tldr" to anything over three sentences and refer to well-punctuated, correctly paragraphed posts as "walls of text".

You can't set someone up like that and not expect it. It's just an inevitability.

But in all seriousness, did Funk-E retire as well?
