Ignore him. He looks for what isn't there. He's among those that thinks all Force Sensitives have to be Jedi (i.e. Ahsoka, who renounced her title of Jedi) or Sith (because we needed thousands of them in Legends).

 

Well yeah. Its implied that the Force guided him, yet he doesn't have the Force. Its not a big hole, but Chirrut and Blaze didn't have a proper introduction imho

 

Non-force sensitives feel things too. You mentioned the force...I didn't.

Either way, it's not a plot hole.

There is a difference between a plot hole and just things that aren't explained clearly (or at all)

 

Just what was missing from a story about Han Solo's youth: how he played a role in the beginning of the Rebellion he wasn't interested in when we first met him.

 

Hope expanded means more than just the inclusion of deleted scenes.

Lets have a chapter about what happened to Qi'ra right after Han left or more importantly, what happened to her after she arrived on Dathomir. We're probably not getting a sequel to the movie anyways.

 

That wasn't the Rebellion. At the most Enfys might form a rebel cell in the future. She's just a lowercase rebel primarily fighting Crimson Dawn.

Besides, Legends had Han cross paths with the actual Rebellion in his youth. The Yavin Vassilika, anyone?

 

Its supposed to contain stuff from deleted scenes and stuff from alternate versions of the scripts.

I don't know if I wanna read this. I am so standoffish with film novelizations. Thrawn: Alliances comes out Tuesday, but aside from this, their is a huge gap till February's Master and Apprentice. I wish I had a SW book to fill that gap. Its (not counting Solo) 7 months!

 

I guess they decided to go with the same uninspiring marketing image for the novelization.

That's true, and that's on top of his previous collaboration with the Rebels in the raid on Ylesia in the HST, his appearance on Rebel recruiting propaganda in the Farlander Papers, and his employment by Mon Mothma in the Empire at War game. By the time he returned to Yavin in A New Hope, Mothma and Dodonna must have been like "Oh look, it's that guy again!"

Is it bad I hope they reveal why Enfys risked asking for their help like she did?

 

For all the challenges this film had with its marketing, I will say I liked the "Western" motif of its posters and other imagery. It felt different and very fitting for the character.

 

Agreed. Personally, I think the movie is freaking fantastic

 

I liked it a lot too...and I'll buy the Blu rey (SW are the only movies I still buy in the age of streaming)...but I'm not really itching to see it again.

Wait until we get some Resistance news. I have a feeling they may announce a tie in novel for this Fall. (I’m being optimistic)
