It seems like we could be getting a Solo prequel with Maul and Crimson Dawn rise to power in imperial era.

Yeah and this is likley when she is still a little kid. A still young Maul thriving on chaos as he rise to power again. So animation for this prequel and live action for when the Qira series comes.

I would not be adverse to an animated prequel show starring Maul. He's sort of become this Shakespearean tragedy-type character. That might be partly due to Sam Witwer's melodramatic take on him, but it's almost charming in a old monster movie villain-sort of way. Plus the PT era just lends itself to animation so well. Many zany characters.
