It’s Palps. I think Vos is in the employ of the Emperor, scouring the black market for contraband or Sith artifacts. I think he’s going to have a Tarkin-in-Rogue1 amount of screen time. Maybe Vos’ facial scars are the result of force lightening.

I'd really like it if it's Palpatine. But I think Jabba is possibly more likely.

Just realized that we may have gotten confirmation that Enfys Nest is a man, not a woman.

At 0:04 in the clip below, Val says "I knew it. I told him!" as the Cloudriders zip towards the train. Val then gets on her comm and says: "Beckett, he's coming!"

 

Or, we just got confirmation that Val thinks Enfys Nest is a man.

 

Right. Which is why I chose my words carefully and said "may" have gotten confirmation.

 

For what it’s worth the databank entry says that Enfys Nest has earned a ‘nefarious reputation across the galaxy’. So while that doesn’t mean the cloud riders are on other planets, they are nonetheless known by about.

 

They show up on more than one planet (Vandor and Savareen), and a recent poster revealed their starship, so it’s already known that they’re multi-planetary pirates.

Is it strange that the actor playing Enfys doesn't appear on this cast list?

 

I am now changing my theory over to Val being Nest. She is not there when we have the Nest showdown, and her calling Nest "he" in the clips when she sees the cloud riders honestly makes a lot of sense as her intentionally misleading the others by saying he. Thoughts?

 

But how could she be doing the train heist and watching herself arrive as Enfys at the same time?

 

Force projection?

 

did we actually see Nest when Val says she sees him? Cause it's easy for her to get the signal of her cloud riders in the distance, and then once she warns the others she hops onto one of the bikes and gets her gear on. That or have one of her people put the helmet on or something.

 

I'm thinking what would be the point? Val isn't really that an important a character.

 

Yeah, but I feel like it has to be someone cause otherwise why hide the actress's name? Unless it's someone we already know from another film, Mon Mothma is Nest confirmed

 

I don't think she is Val or Qi'Ra.
