Star Wars Spearhead of the Alliance: Rebel SpecForce

In the aftermath of Hoth, the Rebel Alliance command, places more attention in upgrading its special forces units, new recruits as well as the veterans and survivors of Hoth join these elite units to launch raids and offensives against the Empire. This RP will follow the missions and lives of one SpecForce Pathfinder unit, from the aftermath of Hoth to the liberation of Coruscant.

Rule:

4. Keep swearing down to a minimum (also try to keep vocab in-verse as well)
5. No playable "Hero" characters (i.e. Skywalker or Solo) main characters from the movies may appear in your posts (i.e. General Madine giving a briefing before a mission) but you cannot play them.

7. Please keep everything canonical (while this game is meant to have original stuff, please try to keep background events and characters canonical)

Bio:

Hollis is from a military family, his father having served in Royal Security Forces. Hollis fought in both the Siege of Yavin and the Battle of Hoth,serving with distinction in both engagements. A decorated combat leader, Hollis was handpicked by his commanding officer to be selected for a SpecForce unit,alongside his friend Sgt. Nori Sunrider. Hollis is an idealist and sees this conflict as a war against evil, and wishes to personally liberate his homeworld from the Empire. Hollis has a great respect for the soldiers that serve under him, and will not do anything his troopers won't.

 

I'm also wondering if I should post or link SpecForce jargon (FYI I've also coined a few phrases myself). Also I'm having Sgt. Nori Sunrider as a non-playable character as well.

Bio: Being raised on Firrerre, Perath was brought up inundated with the ferocity of Firrerreon clan loyalty. Having this entrenched deep within his psyche, Perath had set out into the galaxy on his own, at a young age, to pursue a career in the Imperial Army. However, shortly after leaving Firrerre as a young teen, only 16, his home-world had been devastated by the Empire. With all of his people dead, Perath changed his direction; deciding instead to dedicate himself to the Empire's destruction. After a few years of running freelance missions for resistance cells, he was recruited by the Rebel Alliance, where he was soon selected as a candidate for SpecForce. Blazing through the stringent process to become a SpecForce soldier, Perath sees the Alliance as a very advantageous means to his end of destroying the Empire. Fiercely loyal to his fellow soldiers and Alliance members, Perath will let nothing stand in his way on his path to dethrone the Emperor and avenge his people.

Bio:

Born on Kashyyyk in the city Kachirho he was raised like most other young wookiees and brought out hunting with his family frequently. He learned very easily how to work with long ranges usually taking very long shots at his prey, but still maintaining a success every time. He was also on par with some of the best Wookiee scouts on the planet, and was well skilled in the use of ryyk blades. He came to adulthood in the heat of the Clone Wars even taking part in the battle of Kashyyyk taking the weapon of a fallen clone commando in the heat of the fray, his weapons running too low to use. He survived the battle only to be captured by clone troopers later and brought to work on the Death Star along with various other slaves from various other words.

During a daring raid by Rebel agents he escaped and managed to hide away on Nar Shaddaa, once he managed to get his hands on a decent transport he made his way back to his homeworld. Once there he grabbed everything he could, including two Ryyk blades, a bowcaster previously owned by his father and a disruptor. He also managed to hunt down the trooper responsible for his capture, still using the DC-17 taken from him when he was imprisoned and pressed into slavery. Suffice is to say he went a little stereotypical upon this, tearing the trooper's arms out of their sockets and bashing his head in and in the end reclaiming his trophy from the war. As soon as that was settled he began working his way into the workings of local resistance groups in an attempt to make contact with Rebel agents, as he could not repay the individuals that freed him, he had no choice to offer his abilities to the Alliance. He joined up on a trip to the outer rim where he encountered a small espionage group, he now works as a special forces operative.
