He actually was characterized as a veteran master by reference book author Abel G. Pena, who poste here as Halagad_Ventor

Maybe the Sith founder wrote essays about why the Jedi should rule the galaxy.

In Legends, Darth Ruin was an Umbaran, the same species as Sly Moore. Could he be Sly Moore's ancestor?

I would kill for an animated series based off the Kotor comics!

A live action series adaptation of the Kotor comics would be even better.

I imagine that if we get a film about the beginning of the Jedi, Ach-to and Jedha will feature heavily. I find it interesting that the Jedi built their first temple on one planet yet share their name with another.

A Jedi origins film is my favorite option for an outside-the-OT/ST timeline anthology film. And I think it's highly possible, as it could tie into, as you say, existing films and locations (Ahch-to and Jedha).

Same here. I love imagining a time when the Jedi and Sith were one, when there was no "light side" and "dark side", when they all meditated together in harmoney.

I just think it has enormous potential in terms of being both heavy on the mysticism, and deeply connected to all the existing Star Wars films (because it deals with a fundamental element of the GFFA).

Exactly. The Chosen One prophecy was about healing a millenia-old divide. The Jedi and Sith are building blocks of the GFFA.

A film in this era has unlimited potential and the story can flow in so many directions do to being millennia before the movies were set.

For me, it would have to be true to KOTOR and be built upon similar foundations.

I actually think it deserves a trilogy. One film just doesn't seem enough.

Maybe "Jedha" means "Land of The Force" and "Jedi" means "follower of The Force". "Jed" = The Force, "ha" = land, "i" = follower.

Since Lucas originally envisioned Sheev as Nixon-like, a Nixon-like Sith Lod would be fun to see.

I think the most badass names that Legends came up with for a Sith founder character are "Xendor" and "Darth Ruin." I would enjoy seeing the name "Xendor" used for the founder of the Sith, and if he has a Darth name, I'd enjoy seeing the name "Darth Ruin" used. Darth Caliban

Sounds like Jedha might be the new Tython.

I wouldn't be surprised if between Ach-to and Jedha, one is the new Tython and the other is the new Ossus.

Too me, that doesn't make sense. Theodicy is difficult. I think the light is harmony and the dark is conflict. So there can't be harmony between the two. The Mortis trilogy seems to suggest otherwise, but I think it only seems that way. Anakin balance is be because there is no gray--it is not giving into the dark side. The Bendu, Maul and Ezra with the holocrons, and Anivader could suggest otherwise.

I'm not sure if I've made sense.

I always imagained that Lucas drew inspiration from Judaism and Christianity when he created the Jedi and the Sith. In canon, the Sith rose from the Jedi - they were essentially Jedi followers who fell to the Dark Side and started their own religion.

So something like that would be interesting to see in a film.

Personally I'd prefer it if the origins of the Jedi remained shrouded in mystery. I think this sort of thing is more effective if it's left somewhat mysterious. Mythic.

I'd love to see something set in the KotOR era though - the difficulty is they'd have to work very hard to make sure the time period felt distinct from the rest of the films. This in turn would be fairly difficult to market.

There are plenty of movies dealing with ancient myths of Greece, Egypt, China, and so on. It doesn't make those ancient myths less mysterious or mythic...
