Never mind the Emperor's royal circle .. given that we see the Royal Guards in the trailer and that Krennic is allegedly heavily into sucking up to the Emperor .. what are the chances of seeing Palpatine in a cameo?

 

They're otherwise known as the Peculiar Hat Crew. You know you're in with Palpatine, when you get to wear a hat like that.

Maybe the end credit scene can be the two of them talking about disbanding the senate like we see towards the beginning of ANH.

 

Maybe it ends with Palpatine's speech before the Senate.

 

It would be nice to see Jimmy Smits' older looking Bail Organa threatening Palpatine, then Palpatine calls up Tarkin and orders him to get rid of Alderaan, to show the universe they mean business.

Then we see him communicate with Mon Mothma, as he tells her that he has sent his daughter Leia to rendezvous and intercept the Death Star plans.

 

Something new I would like to see from The Empire is war dogs! It's probably a little too close for comfort with the Nazis - But I think that ship has sailed...

Then again, I can't think how they would do this without bad cgi
