RPR Archive Spring 2008 Role Playing Forum Awards - ***Winners Announced***

Note taken Miss LZM. We well discuss this issue at further length after the awards...

In other news, expect final results for this come Sunday night. Finals are done, but this weekend is quite busy b/c of Easter.

However, come Sunday night when everyone gets ready to go back to work and etc, etc, I will be back and ready to wrap things up.

I much preferred to put an example of what I was nominating someone for, rather than doing a hyperlink.

As far as I am aware, TFN markup links will only take you to the page where the writing appears, not to the piece of writing itself. I tend not to nominate eight writers at a time, but one particular person, so a link, rather than a pasted paragraph, would not suit the stated purpose for me.

 

Well, I was just thinking about saving space. Because with all the nominations that could be one giant page to scroll through. But, I guess that won't be too big of a deal.

I suggested the link because I had thought that when you take a link from someone's "View Latest Profile" and pasted it to the browser it would take you directly to the post. But, I guess not. That's what I thought the "&start=some#" was in the following example from my own posts:

Yah, I know I said today, and I would do it if I could, but I think the flu has me in its clutches...

So rather than do the votes now and incorrectly count them or something, I will do them tomorrow morning once the Nyquil wears off...

If this keeps up, I may have to go green for a little bit and give Saintheart a baptism of fire for the world of moderating...

CONGRATZ to ALL WINNERS!! and...Well, uhm....thanks to ALL of you WHO VOTED, since it's YOU who make all this possible. In my book, we are all winners!! GM's have to keep up with the high caliber players that join their game, besides, we do have some amazing new talent in the RPF!! Both as Players and GMs, and with the new management team, only good things can happen. My advise: Just don't pull a Titanomachy!!! ( great opening post, then *POOF* vanish!!) Still wondering what happened there.

Anywho....thanks again everyone. *waves*

And many thanks for your votes on "A Tide of Flames", though I really must give full credit to the great LightWarden for his tireless efforts in getting the game up and running. I hope we have begun a long and lasting tradition of d20 RPGs in the NSWRPF, since I can confirm the interest and the player base is certainly there.

 

Great job, voters. This user truly deserved the award you all gave him, because, well, he rocks, and good for all of you for realizing it.
