'Shroud' needs to roll a +3 or better to succeed in his incapacitation/ choke hold. ( skill set + favorable conditions )

Isaac however, needs a +8 or better to succeed in his tackle. ( no bonuses )

Well, let me tell you; In my table top game, we have had Players save the day by one, villains miss wiping the entire party by one and all sorts of madness happening, 'by one', LOL!!

In that situation where the villain roll fails by one, what happens? Does the whole attack fail, and the entire party is left standing; or is most of the group on the ground, with one survivor left to hobble off for help?


Also, in Isaac and Shroud's contexts, does a "selfie" mean something other than taking a picture of themselves?

 

I believe he meant the latter where all but one person is taken out.
